Now we need G2 Deathwish.

 

Is the G2 colours for Deadend just a brighter red? I think it's shown on the back of the G2 Dragstrip box if anyone has that to show.

 

Brighter red, black stripe on the hood, and instead of a sunroof, a red/yellow checker board pattern. Although that has me thinking now, i can't tell from that pic, but will G2 Deathwish have a solid roof without a sunroof, or did they just paint the sunroof that same pattern also?

 

I need the G1s to all come out before G2s  

 

Soooooooooo...for those who are getting both the G1 and G2 sets...how hard do you think it's going to be to pick up G2 MM?

I'm sure MM is going to be a fairly expensive figure, so picking up G1 and G2 in quick succession will cost a pretty penny...add to that the likelihood that G2 will be exclusive to some 'con...

Don't mind me...I like to needlessly stress over things I can't control  

 

I am so behind now with this line. I still haven't picked up Deathwish, or Overheat G1 & G2.

 

It shouldn't be too hard, I mean, even G2 Crackup is still up for sale at Toy Dojo. So when G2 MM eventually comes out, I'm confident they'll have him in stock for a while. Of course, I also forget not everyone is in the US, but G2 Dragstrip's "exclusivity" was expanded to specific retailers in Canada and the UK as well, and I don't think there's any reason for them to go back on that trend for the later G2 releases. But yeah, I think people who can't get it right at release will have months to save up and still pick him up.

But yeah, I think XTB's G2 release numbers outpaced market demand, even though they're better made than the G1 versions because not everyone likes those G2 colors. Actually, I bet G2 Dragstrip ends up selling the best of their G2 releases- its a really good (and more acceptable) color scheme, and it lacks the tolerance issues of the G1 version.

That was quick. Got G2 Dragstrip in the mail today.

 

That's how I have mine displayed...one of the shoulders would not give and I didn't want to break it so toy version it is. 

 

Mine should be arriving today as well (along with Deathwish)

 

You think they'll make reissues of G1 Overheat that have their problems fixed?

 

I would imagine it will be a rolling change with no real notification which is which, just a guess though.

 

For those that ordered G2 Overheat from baba on Ebay and received a tracking number, is your tracking number active and working yet?

Watch them release actual g1 toy decos next with the extra car decals and modified chests.

That's something I'd find very difficult to pass.
