Boo, Maverick's shoulder screw was already sheared in two...

If the screw were missing I could replace it, but I have no idea how to remove the tail of the screw that's stuck in the hole.

 

Should be the reason for that gap.

I too seem to have the issue of one arm not quit tabbing in fully to the under side of the wing...

You need to get this set and carefully bore out the screw. I had to do it on another FT bot and it took around 1 hour, have to be patient and only remove the screw, not the surrounding material.

Guess I got lucky, Baba delivered my Maverick, but then again, I think I was order #2.

 

I had that on mine at first, if you look at the metal hinge, you may find it’s slightly raised, you need to really push until it clicks into place, the arms then sit nice and flush.

So it looks like I need to reach to him so he can adjust/lower the balance price since I preordered. I hope he brings it down to 700 youan at least like Thor Toys is doing. That would bring it down to about $102 USD before shipping.

 

Got mine from TCP today and just finished transforming him for the first time.

I ordered July 3rd through ebay and he cancelled my order.

 

Anyone else struggling to get the arms to tab in to the wings in plane mode or is just me? It's the old "tab this in and something pops out" struggle.

 

Just got "arriving soon" email from BBTS, so should be before end of the month that he'll come in.

 

Some good news is that he seems to be fairly stable in both robot and aeroplane modes, so even if they say that there's nothing they can do, I have a tolerable and poseable Silverbolt. Actually, having the arm separate makes the transformation easier, as it's not flapping around in the way when doing the body! But then, I did deliberately do this to Rouge as it makes the waist fit together much better and makes the transformation less flappy:



(I call the two parts "Arse" and "EE".)

Yes, but then I figured it out - you really have to compress the thighs into the hips. It’s a really tight joint but after a bit of pressure it does click into place. It only makes a few mm of difference but it’s a vital step.

 

What was getting me was having the arms transformed properly. It is important to have the black shoulder with the groove in it facing the underside of the wing. The main grey piece of them arm should collapse fully at the black shoulder. They should pretty much touch. Also, fold the hands in well so they arent sticking out. It is a pain in the ass, but it eventually goes together. Keep at it. You will get there. It is stubborn. Tolerances are tight.

 

Got mine from Baba late yesterday and transformed to plane.

Cons - Left shoulder bar loose for butterflying as well as left hip. Tightened screws and it helped for now. A very light scuff is there and the upper part of the shoulders will not attach to the wing in plane mode because the arms require a very strained connection to the back to hold it together.

Pros - This may be one of the best looking and best painted bots I have seen. It’s damn beautiful with the pearl, metallic red, and gold yellow. The colors are right. The toon was a pastel yellow cell shade representing gold. Using toy gold with a mirror surface would not have looked right here. I would say it matches Lupus in pictures. The jet is hard to get but it is tight and beautiful. Simply amazing. If you follow the videos you can get the reward.

 

It's not perfect but it'll do.
Feels like Motormaster - impressive transformation that isn't as hard as it looks, pretty fiddly but a really nice alt mode. Bot mode is fine but nothing exceptional in my eyes but a solid finish. I prefer it to Zeta's offering but you it is more expensive and you did get half of superion with Silver Arrow.
