To kill the wait a bit, here are the excellent comparison pictures again that @Cheem The Rup made early this year.

 

I'm slightly bummed that there's no stand hole but not surprised. After Prowl+ and Wheeljack+ weren't remolded to include them (as the Lambros were), I didn't have much hope Bluestreak+ would. Would've been great to be able to re-enact the MTMTE flight scene with Ironhide or have him jumping around with Prowl like in Roll for It, but with all that they did do with this guy, who can complain?!

Trying not to get too excited for this guy tbh. I ordered him from BBTS so based on Prowl+ and Wheeljack+ there's no telling when he'll arrive!

 

I think he’s great. However since these +s usually hold stock for a while I think I’ll wait around. I would love to get him with Wheeljack + as well.

 

Just picked up this afternoon. Very happy with him. He’s not even a character I particularly like.

Alt mode is the weaker of the two, (like most of the other + releases), but the matte grey does have a nice subtle pearl/shine/sparkle in the correct light. Strikes a balance between real world metallic and toon flatness.

He really shines in bot mode. I thought MP-17 and + had a good head sculpt but MP-18+ does it better still. The paint is well done and gives him a classy feel. He feels more alive than MP-17+. The effect parts are a nice extra touch.

Satisfied customer looking forward to the boss very soon.

There's something about the eyes that makes him look psychopathic. Maybe the heavy outlines, but he looks crazed. Still love the figure and can't wait to have in hand.

 

Yeah, today I experienced and agree with what others have suggested before - that the new head, faces and blast effects make this release truly worthy of the Plus designation, compared to a straight up repaint.
