...blind packs for a $60.00 3rd party figure, ON TOP OF A BAF?!?

You can P!$$ right off, ToyWorld. It's no wonder Zeta broke off from you, you're not just scum to them, you guys couldn't figure your way out of a paper bag to run a business.

I love the ToyWorld figures I own [Bulldog, the various Legends-size Wheeljacks, Comic-style Megatron & Prime], and would've picked up the Grey version of Bulldog in a heartbeat, but this is f*%king ridiculous!

The price is bad enough, but a blind pack to boot? Ha ha ha ha ha ha... no. I'll continue to buy TW figures when it suits my needs, but I'm not supporting this 'blind box' scheme or the BAF scheme.

The BAF piece of the business is off to a bad start anyhow - I received my Bulldog without a BAF piece [like everyone else, I believe] and now I have to chase @ShowZStore to get my piece? That's just a terrible business model for all involved - not just an inconvenience for ME, but now the retailer has to ship out an extra box just to satisfy their customers? Ugh.

It's a shame they're not just releasing these. The line itself is a breath of fresh air for me. I'd hate to see sales tank because of shady practices.

They are releasing repaints of their Bulldog mold in tan and grey... But the grey is a 'chase' figure that's only 1 in 32. For an almost $80 figure.

Agreed - I want the grey, no interest in the tan... and there's no way in hell I'm going to try my luck at almost eighty bucks a pop to get the one I want. So I guess I won't be buying either one!

This sort of thing is fine for a $5 figure, but this is just outrageous.

The blind buy and BAF concepts are fine, but applying them to a high end premium toyline where each release is nearly $80 seems a little silly. They aren't doing that with WWII Bee, are they?

It seems like it. We know he's one of the figures (last I checked) that's coming with a part/limb for Starscream (like Bulldog) AND he's been shown in two different color schemes. (One of which was an odd...purple color.) While that's not an implicit "Yes", it's certainly inferrable.

Hahahah, what the hell? What moron decided to take blind bag philosophy used on $5 novelties and apply it to $70 figures? I'm loving the designs this company is doing, but JFC they are dumb as hell with this BAF and chase figure nonsense.

ToyWorld is incredibly stupid. This is why they have a problem operating as a business.

I have been checking ToyWorld's Weibo page, and for over a week they have been hiding all their posts, no new posts either. Don't know what's happening, I hope they are ok...

Hmmm, maaaybe (tinfoil hat time) someone isn't keen on them releasing a direct competitor to their Optimus Prime and has started doing something about it.

Or something along these lines :lol

Uh, I'm gonna interrupt the current controversy with an announcement that my Bulldog finally came in, and it came with a Starscream arm. And I know for a fact that the reason this is the case, is because is is from the second production run. See, my initial pre-order ended up getting canceled due to issues with processing my credit card, and when I pre-ordered it again, at that point, the first run had already sold out. I know this, because I talked to the Show.Z representative that posts here.

Toyworld won't stop making stupid decisions. I can't wait to see the new figures in the FS line but having blind packs for a $60-80 figure? That's just stupid.

Well, Robotoybase came through and sent me a Starscream arm with my most recent order. Here’s a review!

    Box
    It’s black!

    It’s an arm!

    It’s a wing!

Tolerances are tight and paint is snazzy. It’s on the same level as Bulldog and I assume the rest of the figure, should it actually be completed, will be the same. It kind of drives me crazy having this nice arm and knowing the rest of him is just sitting over there at Toy World while they fuck around. But it is what it is.

Excellent review! I got mine as well. Pretty good articulation but it doesn't have any legs to stand on.
I also hate that Starscream is going to end up costing me an arm and a leg at a time.

Hopefully they save the torso for last, so we can use a Dorito as a stand-in.
