I'm starting to think no one who's covering the news at SDCC-- both those giving it AND those posting it-- cares.

Though the fact that apparently nothing Transformers has been revealed beyond the end of this year (barring Unicron, of course) still gives me hope.

 

Sad but true--the tiny little lines are never big moneymakers so none of the money types care about them, and they're not big and sexy so the mainstream types don't care either. See also Tiny Turbo Changers and Botshots...

 

I was hoping to hear news about wider distribution of the wave 1.5 Bakery Bytes and Lawn League myself

 

At this point I am 95%+ certain we've heard all about them we're going to. They were very likely a canceled store exclusive where they made enough Bakery Bytes for a rare distribution in TRU Canada, and the packs were cancelled before they made any Lawn League packs.

At this point I think the only hope you've got is if it turns out to be one of those "out of nowhere" things that shows up for the holiday shopping season at TJ Maxx/Marshall's.

 

well that means ebay I guess for me, though I do wonder if they end up at Ross at one point...a lot of Star Wars TRU exclusives that did make it out in Canada eventually made it to Ross in the USA

it would be neat if someone at SDCC could ask the Hasbro booth about these...or at least remind them there are still people who want to give them money for them...

Now I'm even more confused.

 

The grey/limey green botbot was when it was first spotted was thought to be a birdhouse, that's what Rumble02 called it, but we've since found out it's a tent thanks to the SDCC set.

Well, I did complete series 2 on my trip, but their series 3 Botbots were mostly picked clean. I ended up with the Christmas Tree, Snowman, Chocolate Sauce, and blue Guitar guys. Oh, and the only one from series 3 whose name I’ve retained:

I don’t think it’s hyperbolic to say that he’s the reason toys were invented.
The big detailed spendy stuff is really cool and I collect all of that too, but I didn’t hunt any of it as voraciously as I sought out Duderoni, Javasaurus, and Quackles.
They’ve done such a spectacular job on this line.

 

Too bad they'll only do a crapshoot of "you get only random whatever we throw in the box" rather than offering a full case or four-pack set. You suck sweaty filthy ballsacks, Bzos...

 

Oh don't you DARE start talking about Botbots in the past tense yet. The correct version is: "They are doing such a spectacular job on this line."
