Reading the tech specs makes me wonder if they have plans to release the other two Japanese exclusive tapes. I mean why mention them if they have no plans to release them

I’m sure he is. But it’s exciting that they’re getting an individual release. Many fans chose to be more financially responsible that I did and not waste a bunch of money on Bumblebees and clear variants that they didn’t want.

 

And yet his eyes are unpainted (they're usually silver). I'm wondering if the eyes were supposed to be painted red and it's some sort of error.

It’s probably the finished product. Wow, Hasbro really messed up the packaging on these. A single G1 style card with both Dino’s on it would have been a dream to display alongside the reissue packs from Walmart. Instead, we get this mess.

 

Cool! Hopefully they get around to reissuing Overkill and Slugfest at some point.

None of those are really as rare and hard to find complete as the dino cassettes. This release isn't going to make the vintage toy any cheaper or easier to find than the KOs did.

 

Excellent news ! I fiqured that would happen. Makes more sense then the Dinos added with the Bumblebees last year. I glady take a extra cassete to get these guys at a great price. Ordered this and look forward to wave 2

 

Thanks for posting this. I thought there was only one set with a Studio Bumblebee. Now I see there are 2 sets with 2 different Bumblebees that I missed, I'll probably skip all of them. Save some $$$.

 

Inpackage photos from the con are showing Frenzy being assembled and sticker correctly. Meaning he is likely painted correctly too and the one we've been seeing has been a test shot etc.

Anyone know if TT have plans to roll out as well? I'd much rather prefer the reissue of the Japan boxed versions but, unless they ceased all boxed versions for carded, I can also accept them.

 

They should've made a new color version of Frenzy, maybe a black and white version? Call him Static.

Unless they meant to make the Red one, but someone just said Frenzy and assumed they knew they would make the red one to go along with the Walmart re-release of the blue one.

 

Is Hasbro Pulse the only outlet to purchase these at?
