Got a Seeker pack today from Antioch Target. (Review in my youtube channel linked in my sig)

Pittsburg Target said they are getting them in Monday. (22nd)

 

I checked the North Hollywood Target for the Seekers 3-pack. They said it wouldn't be out until the 28th. Still, it wasn't a wasted trip as I finally found Smashdown. There was still at least three of the little minotaur when I left there.

 

That's what I was told the night before I bought these. I had to ask an employee to grab it from the back

 

Target Silver Creek has another Seeker set. I bought one and had no problems about the street date. If someone needed the other one sorry I couldn’t get it cuz I’m literally moving to SD right now.

 

Sorry I’m hopping over from the KY Sightings as a Target employee. The Seekers aren’t street-dated, the issue is that there is a massive country wide (as in every single Target) toy reset on 7/28. Thus the TMs who say “they aren’t available until 7/28” really just mean “they won’t have a shelf location until 7/28” but they can be sold

Just came from the Fox Hills Mall Target in Culver City, and they had 2 of the Seeker sets out on the shelf. (They now have 1)

 

Sigh. They must have put them on the shelves AFTER I called them. Awesome.

 

They didn't even pick up when I called them. Which is maybe lucky; it's always a coin toss whether they give you accurate information on the phone.

 

Sure is. I wonder if it's worth it driving 30 minutes there tomorrow or not... Probably not.

 

For those of you who are finding the Rainmakers in store, did you ask an associate to check the DCPI and get a "yes that's in stock" response? @Shark Jumper and I have been asking around OC area and so far they're just saying it's not in stock anywhere in the area. Just not hitting OC yet, or is the system not accurate? Brickseek has been useless (for months already now).

 

Does brickseek really not work? I have been checking OC zip codes and they don't show up in stock but when I check select LA zip codes there are a few stores that do register hits. I just figured they haven't hit OC yet

 

It worked for me up in LA county but yeah, nothing ever pops up in the OC for some reason. Hell, two Tragets near me and one further out turns out to have had them and didn't know themselves that they did.

 

Brickseek works sporadically for me the last few months, something in Target's system changed. Several times now I would check a DCPI and it would say Out of Stock, yet there would be plenty of stock available at multiple locations. So I don't really trust it when it says OOS, only reliable method has been to check in person. Just not sure if this is extending to the store inventory - e.g. it is on the shelf but if you asked an associate it would still say zero on hand. Or OC is just late in the getting, as is often the case.

 

Yeah, brickseek isn't always right and there are only two Targets around me where I trust the associates enough for them to go back and actually check for themselves. I got lucky finding a set in Culver City and then unlucky when I called and they said they didn't have any, only for someone to say they they had two. Right now, I'm trying to help someone else get one but Target is making it real hard to be nice to people.

But surely one of your Targets must have it. I mean, law of averages or something?

 

I mean it's possible yeah but I don't have time to run around and check them all LOL. I've got a kid and chores and etc. Toy hunting isn't high on my wife's list of priorities for me  , she's pretty tolerant to check one extra Target now and again. At least the parts of OC I frequent has like 5 or 6 Targets within range so it's just a matter of time. My only worry is how plentiful stock would be - one case and done or will this be shelf warming in a few weeks after the toy reset?

 

No clue. Each case only has two sets in it and it seemed like the Target I got it from only got in two cases. Hopefully it's an initial rush thing and then they'll be plentiful, but I've been bit in the ass by that type of thinking before so I just pick up something when I see it (or wait for Cape and Cowls to get it, either or). Really the only pain in finding these things. If I find more sets, I'll check to see if you want one then. Just let me know if you see any down there.

 

Found the last one today at Target Irvine North on Jamboree. Can confirm it is now in the wild in OC
