That does look a lot better. The original looks too much like the retail Deluxe. I think I'll just get 3 of cartoon Reflector and call it a day.

Huh. Interesting/bizarre that Kremzeek is being included with the Reflectors. Glad that Soundblaster is being easily released through Walmart instead of being yet another Selects exclusive (I have so many different online accounts already I really don't want to make another one lol). Presumably then the cartoon accurate Prime and Megs will be Wally-World exclusives too.

 

Thus is exactly what I need for a reflector figure. Looks perfect. And the additional parts are great. Soundblaster is also great and much more appealing than Soundwave.

 

Wait for it, a Marvel deco is the perfect idea for a select figure.

 

Very shitty of them to withhold the flash accessory from the regular release of Reflector. Also, having the stupid revised name REFRAKTOR plastered across the front of a toy that is meant to capture the feels of a toy which sported REFLECTOR across it is a bit of a downer.

 

Hopefully Takara does Bluestreak so I'll have a chance to buy him, what with Walmart's unwillingness to stock their own exclusives (or toys in general).

 

For some reason, I hate the term "preview breakfast."

 

How pissed are some of the people who plopped down $60 for three identical Refraktor's only to have this far superior set announced?

I think the issue for me is that it sounds like a preview of what's for breakfast instead of actually giving it to me.

And as @Fallout mentioned, I need *all* the bacon and eggs you have.

 

I wouldn't call it superior. It has the wrong name plastered across the front of it and still fails to capture the look of the G1 toy. The added flash accessory is the only thing it has going for it.

 

I actually prefer the three identical dudes since that's what they looked like in the show. I have zero attachment to the toy version as it's not something that was available to me as a kid.

The new set looks cool. But not my cup of tea.

 

Getting both....... I vastly prefer the Toon accurate colors but the extra bits of the packed set is outstanding....
