    I also feel like they would have given us something more creative, some kind of repaint based in the TF Universe, maybe Vector Prime??

    The Siege leader only has battle damage paint on the feet, and even then it blends in.
    Don't know what Shockwave figure you're looking at that has paint all over it.

    Yeah, there’s no way for folks to know who actually designed Galactic Man (though it is likely it was American designers) but to imply Takara’s creative output is dead is illogical when stuff like the Seacons, Super Megatron and new Super Link Convoy exists... We also know Takara had heavy involvement in Siege.

    I don’t know how disliking the Galactic Man color choices has anything to do with how Hasbro/Takara collaborate. It could be there’s a lot more blending of design decisions between the two companies since it’s now one product being sold in both regions.

    I understand that. But I feel like it’s better to go all in instead of somewhat there. Plus it’s special. How many Transformers have that kind of hilarious and ridiculous writing on them?
    Hasbro Pulse I believe.

    Having owned Galactic Man in my youth and having wanted a repaint like this for years, I am so happy to see this wish finally come true! And the “Galactic Man” text on the torso!

    Based on earlier comments made in this thread, was Aaron Archer against having a gray Shockwave repaint? Is that why we have never gotten one until now?
