Apeface DID have a headmaster function in G1. It's a big part of the draw for me!

 

Apeface was always a headmaster, that’s how his design is

 

so? in TR atleast as far as i can remember alot of those characters didnt have headmasters, but still were made that one to stick with the lines gimmick

 

I guess it's the best we could have hoped for...there'll be another version someday, but how many of us will still be collecting by then? Pretty sure I won't.

Unfortunately for you, the current design philosophy of Siege is for each character to have their legacy gimmick, as opposed to forcing everyone to be compatible with combiners/headmasters like they were in Prime Wars.

Which means Apeface is going to be a Headmaster. Sure, there are technically exceptions (leader class Shockwave) but it doesn't interfere with what the core character is supposed to do.

 

Holy shit Rumble looks wide as hell. But Ratbat looks soo good. Can’t wait for these guys.

it's less "your assumption" and more "common sense." it's literally the only solution for where the cockpit could go, nobody had any doubt about it.

Back on topic I asked last night about Magnus and did decide to get him. Haven't opened him yet but thinking I'll put him next to my CW one. Just wish we'd get Stardrive to go with Siege Magnus as in my head Siege one is the one from her mini

aaaaaaaanyhoo, I put Apeface in the same column as the Monsterbots from TR. I don't give a scrap that they aren't 100% accurate, they look amazing. Then again, Apeface is accurate, so bonus, there. my main point is I don't care that he kinda sticks out in this line. He's friggin neat looking.

 

You lucky bastard! I’m definitely jealous of you right now. How would you compare them to Starscream as far as the chestplate and wrist issues?
