I’m looking for the Marvel Legends X-Men vintage collection Dazzler and Storm, and the Marvel Legends 2-packs with Hela, and the one with Korg. There’s also a wave coming out with Boom Boom and Nightcrawler any day now! They will probably all show up at Gamestop or Thinkgeek first, though I believe the latter is supposed to close down soon? Transformers-wise, I think I do want Red Alert so if you see him, let me know! I think Long Haul should be hitting soon as folks are getting review copies. I scored Brunt off of Pulse a lot faster than I would have found him at retail, and I definitely recommend getting him; he is way more fun than I expected. As far as my personal retail sightings ago, I have not seen anything worth leaving the house for. If you are a Marvel Legends collector, I keep seeing Blink and Forge and crumbs from the Far From Home wave at Gamestops here and there; I’d like to find Doppelgänger or War Machine at normal retail but it’s just Loki and Nighthawk everywhere. I am heading out in a little bit to run some errands, if you guys can make any suggestions about places I could hit in the Altamonte or Winter Park areas, let me know!
I saw a Doppleganger over here at a Daytona Gamestop the other day. About Thinkgeek - I was the only one in Gamestop and started chatting with the clerk. He said that Thinkgeek's physical store's aren't closing, they just consolidated the website, since they and Gamestop use most of the same warehouses to fulfill orders. And that actually sounds like a smart move if that's the case. And also a relief, because I always see neat stuff in Thinkgeek. Edit: Google confirmed: Thinkgeek site absorbed, stores staying open.
It’s a weird time. Target used to have the most aggressive clearance practices ever; now it’s only a little better than Walmart, who marks things off by pennies. I got a tip about a local GameStop, and when I got down there today the Figma Overwatch figures were marked down from over $100 each to $19 a pop. Got Reaper; it’s nice but Max Factory have been crackheads since the 90’s for thinking their not-Revoltechs need to cost more than an MMC Transformer. I guess that they are reaping what they sewed now, so to speak; I don’t imagine this line will continue much further now that they are getting spanked so hard by Hasbro. Anyway, GameStop also had a ton of high-end props marked down similarly. I did not know it until I had already left, but the FO4 weapons were less than 30 bucks. I guess that previously, their statues were being clearanced and somebody picked up a $250 Shadow Of The Colossus statue for 20 bucks..
Brickseek says some central Florida Targets have the Seekers 3-pack, but I’ve heard people say that Brickseek hasn’t been all that reliable lately.
Just nabbed a set of Rainmakers at the Ortega Target in Jacksonville. Just asked the guy if he could grab one from the back. If its in stock on Brickseek you have a good chance!
Just picked up a rainmaker set at Target in Clermont off of 50. They have 1 set left, but they are in the back so you have to ask for it.
Does Soundwave just not exist in FL? I'm checking Brickseek and it's showing out of stock all over the place. Also, anyone got codes for Brunt and Red Alert?
Lucky! I went to town Center yesterday just after the announcement hit. Brickseek siad they had some in stock but when I got there, their inventory showed zero. Now Brickseek is showing all Targets in the area Out of Stock. There is a set date of July 28th listed on the store's inventory information. I'm guessing for the Jax area they saw the set date and zeroed out their inventory or some sort of status so people wouldn't ask about it til the set date. Brickseek is more like brokeseek; it hasn’t worked accurately for months. Even the scanners in the store aren’t divulging stock information, anymore. The strange part is that employees can still pull up the information, so I am not sure what the game is, here.
Picked up my set Set of Siege Rainmakers at New Tampa Super Target. Brickseek helped so much and the fact i got them with ease was such a nice refresher compared to when i tried to get Springer. Very happy with these. Not to mention i talked to a friend about these the other day and then we learn about them so predicted characters obtained lol. also anyone here about Red Wing being a RedCARD exclusive? If so can anyone help me snag one?
Nabbed the last rainmakers set at Oviedo Target. Went to Casselberry Target and they read that they have two in stock but then they said their inventory is wrong and that they haven't even gotten them in yet. Best I can see is to hit a Target that reads "limited stock" because that means that have sold at least one set and have at least one set remaining. As for Red Wing, I have a red card. Anyone that wants one let me know and I can probably order one for a fan or two in the area. Willing to sell at cost but also willing to trade too if your funds are tight.
