The good news...with TW you can't tell the difference if it's mold degradation or just shitty QC. Either way it would be a minor miracle if you got a perfectly working set out of the box.

10/10 would buy one to slowly dehydrate, attract bugs, crumble, then turn to dust, and one to eat together with my family over the course of a few months on movie or game nights.

Well if you can swing a yellow version down the road you might give it a whirl. It’s actually pretty bad ass. Totally dig mine. It’s just damn awesome. The plain yellow did nothing for me, but there is something about the weathered yellow that makes me giddy.

Have we seen a reliable post or listing of what Old Green's price is? I keep thinking I may want to grab it.

Looks like it's still unknown for now. The one thing that is kinda bothering me are the official shots that have been placed on this thread and that have been posted on Showz's site. The color looks more yellowish than weathered. Or is it the lighting? Anyone else feel the same?

I got mine today. Right shoulder ratchet will not move. Took it apart to move it to the correct position to combine it. The same arms outward articulation is very tight and does not work very well at all. I have contacted tFsource. Hopefully it'll get squared away quickly. I opted out of all the oversees options because I knew the high likely hood of QC problems. Otherwise he seems to have no other issues.

wish they would offer the individual bots again so we could buy piecemeal, dropping $500 all at once doesn't quite work for me and I'm sure there are others who feel the same way.

Totally agree man. I can pretty much piece together the set but it's the first two releases (Bonecrusher/Scavenger) thats impossible to find. I'm already in FT Forager Purgatory and don't wanna be in this lol.

I’m having second thoughts on the old green version. I’m just not sure. It’s only a preorder and I’ll be out my 5 bucks. If it turns out to be much lighter than the original photo posted pic I may just cancel. I like my yellow weathered version because it’s a great contrast.

    What does everyone else think?

I am a bit confused about the last picutres - used also by Show.Z to update the Old Green's preorder page:

A guy that I know poited out that ToyWorld made gray thighs only for their first release of Constructor in 201?. They haven’t used gray parts since then. So is the image above really an update or what?

Please, note that the picture of the weathered Constructor I showed on the previous page is old as much as its first release date or so.

You wouldn't think so...but then again, this is ToyWorld, who after how many countless releases of this guy still can't get their shit straight...so they're not exactly the epitome of logic.

Me too. I have regular and weathered yellow. My weathered yellow is fantastic (my favorite by far). I’m not so sure about the weathered green. I put a deposit down so he could stand w metallic green, but I don’t love the weathered green nearly as much as the weathered yellow.

Some, like the metallic, had both included. But you really can't guess with TW.

At this rate, even the cell shaded is looking even more appealing in comparison (just a little) , but that price tag is a giant horse pill to swallow! EGAD!

Still won't buy it though. Out of my budget...

JFC!!! has Toyworld gone that far down hill that just having things misassembled is considered pretty good? That's pretty damn sad.

So i have the yellow boxset in preorder from BBTS. My question is, when iy finally gets released is there somewhere I can look for a checklist of things to do to prevent breaking? I see people with various issues, so I just wany to give it a good once over to make sure i don't end up with a broken figure. Thanks

Yanno...I've never said this to anyone here, but I always thought that the Old Green set looks strikingly similar to the Cel Shaded version. If you look at the coloring, there are similar patterns. I think they are essentially the same set and have identical base paint schemes. The differences may simply be the cel version gets an overlay of other flat colors to create the cel-shaded look. The weathered version just has either highlighted areas or darkened areas plus grunge on top. Makes sense. Cuts down a lot of cost if they can pop out one mold and make two different sets just using alternate paint schemes. Personally, I have a feeling that old green is going to be $599 or higher. Easily. I'm guessing $699, myself.
