Yep, you pretty much described everything I have been saying about them. Not just the writing of the stories, but also the way the Omnibuses are presented. I also love how Marvel keeps the letter pages intact for all of their Silver Age and Bronze Age books. I don't get why they don't do them (nor a table of contents) for any of their books from the 90s onward.

Never thought to have a werewolf pilot in a story, but darn Mary Jane as a werewolf is pretty ripped.

So Frost’s mind wipe just up and doesn’t work on the stories main villain?

Geeze nearly 30 characters bit the dust throughout the whole series.

Well, now it’s up to Hickman to lift them up off the floor.

I don't know about other people's opinions but Uncanny and Age of X-Man just ended up being major "clusters". The stories didn't make sense and seemed rushed.

How did Age of X-Man end anyway?

How did they all get out? What was Nate Grey’s fate?

He let them leave of their own choice, but it was all or nothing, so even those that wanted to stay had to go, but as Nate had created hundreds of new mutants, he created a new Magneto, and probably other main characters too. It was badly structured and people seemed to flip/flop a little with choices and such.

I'm not really doing it justice in my description. The Life Seed was involved and it's probably connected to Powers of X somehow, but time will tell what happens with it.

    Uncanny thoughts:

RIP interesting new status quo for mutants, UXM 21-22

Also, RIP Emma's new haircut. Really impressive how fast that grew back in just a couple pages.

So, I'm team Scott/Emma. I've been on that train for years now. I am totally over Scott and Jean.

... is what I thought until this issue. Goddamn, if that wasn't a satisfying reunion. Congratulations, Rosenberg, you literally only did one thing right.

So that's over. Bring on the reboot and consign 99% of this run to the garbage bin of history.
