Due to retailers? You mean someones mom's basement for storage? Online retailers have no brick and mortar building to rent neither personnel and if they have personnel means they make a lot of money already.

Honestly, we need the Conehead molds out before we start asking too hard for Nacelle. It probably makes more sense for the Welcoming Committee to just be three, then let Nacelle, G2 Sandstorm and Wheezing Arrow be a newly named trio (pick your favorite other 3 Conehead-based molds if you don't like those two).

 

no thats not what i meant. some stores consistently sell product at a markup. take bbts for example. a voyager there is $32.99 rather than the msrp of $29.99. so a 3 pack of voyagers at bbts would be a minimum on $99 rather than $90

Seriously, this is the main reason I haven't bought much of Seige. Get rid of the weathering, and you've got several purchases by me.

 

I personally love the weathering, and could never understand all the complaints.

 

so since their numbers are 52, 53 and 54 does that mean that they'll come out around the same time as wave 5?

 

Given how a lot of this eBay seller's toys are only sold at Wal-Mart, this is probably a Wal-Mart exclusive 3-pack.

Did they loose the name or is novasyorm a different characyer?

The back of the box photo shows red stripes on all their wings yet the figures have bland black. That would have helped...

 

Recognizing that I hate the weathering, per se, this may not mean much to you, but even granting that weathering, per se, need not be a problem, having the exact same pattern of weathering on every single version of the mold is a HUGE problem, IMHO.

 

I'm calling it now, this'll be SDCC exclusive.

Except it’s not. We already know the 2 SDCC exclusives and if this were one it’d definitely be announced already.

 

Isn't he also more like Starscream in that he's yellow/orange but has other colors breaking that up (unlike these three).

I'm not sure why people are surprised by this. It's likely the "weathering" is similar to the old process of putting on tampos and other paint detail.

The best you could hope for is different weathering applications that are still static across different uses of the mold. So maybe you've got three templates and each of them is used once per trio.
