    What?

Anyways, I was messing with my sirtoys goodies last night, and I'm happy to join the "nothing is wrong with mine" camp.

First, was a mixmaster cab to replace the stock foot. I modeled it from the PE upgrade. That printed great and works really well.

Second, was a new set of arms for scrapper. Unfortunately, my laptop broke before I could do a trial print. But, again, modeled somewhat after the PE kit, I’m hopeful they will be a big improvement.
Then, I started thinking about poor old Longhaul. The huge runt of the bunch who’s robot mode was sacrificed for the greater combined good. How could I make this guy look better.

I pulled up a picture of what he was originally like in g1 and then the CW incarnation he’d become. It seemed to me there were a few clear problem areas.
    1. His arms are a mess.
    2. His legs are a mess.
    3. He has a huge butt due to the waist panels for Devastator.

I’ve had some ideas for what I may be able to do.
    1. Bulk out his upper arms by adding a spacer and moving the wheels out.
    2. New forearms modeled after the PE Kit.
    3. Smaller butt, which may be acceptable for transformation into Devastator.
    4. Leg adaptors to mirror the g1 style whereby the legs become the truck bed.

Anyway, here is a quick set of pics showing the concept, current and a photo/sketch of the evolution to what could work (white background, single figure).

Oddly, I like Long Haul looking like he does in CW just because it makes him stand out and be more distinct. It's not G1 accurate but still, I like his proportions.

First attempt at Scrappers new arms.
I need to beef up the plastic shell because the walls are too thin but the parts all fit together and work.

Looks great! Is that a new scoop on his right toe? That and the new truck front/left toe makes his feet look so much better and a better profile to boot.

I cheated - it's my Takara Titan class with the DNA kit but I'd really like to make my Deluxe class KO on the same level.
I much prefer Devvy in this scale. (Titan class is for city bots)

I just bought mine to replace my NBk Engineer. I want something more G1 accurate, but I can’t afford the prices for CW or UW in my budget. FYI, does anyone know how this guy compares to NBk Engineer in terms of size/quality?

Commander class is more than good enough for country bumpkin bots.

You could try just superglue, but it's a peg.

Best option is to embed the peg with an inner piece... drill into the peg, then drill into where the peg attaches, insert a part of a paperclip or something similar into the peg and glue it in, and then glue the whole peg back into where it broke off from, making it much stronger... in case the plastic peg being glued back on isn't strong enough.

Worked for me in the past.

Same thing happened to me earlier this week :lol
Push the pin out from the other side. Substitute it with a 1,5 mm nail which you clipped the sharp end off. it'll go pretty deep right into the cab.
I assumed I'd have to glue it shut from all sides, but in vehicle mode and Devy mode, the black bit is trapped between the cab and Hook's arm and even when he's in bot mode the nail barely slides down at all because 1,5 mm fits the hole like a glove.
So no glue is needed at all and Hook is as good as new.
I also gave the nail a quick brush with a file to provide the glue that I eventually didn't need something to hold on to. That may help with it not sliding down.

How long does it take to get tracking info? I thought the FAQ said a few days, but I placed my order on the 10th and still nothing in my history. This is SirToys by the way. Trying to find the account here to message, but I don't know what page its on.

There is no actual account here to message and verify your shipment status, as there is no way to verify you are the account holder on sirtoys - they are not linked.

But I can try and help? I don't work there, but I have ordered enough to understand certain shipping dilemmas.

You ordered on the 10th, correct?

Did you complete the order, paying for shipping at the time of completion? Or did you place order on hold?

Is there any tracking numbers next to the PO on your history page on sirtoys?

The 10th of this month is completely normal to not have any updates yet... 10th of last month would be cause for concern.

Your package doesn't ship as soon as you order, it takes at least a week to get it to the post.

Order was paid for on the 10th, and it was July. No numbers, other than an invoice. Payment says completed, Order status blank, tracking # blank.

This is my first overseas order, so I wasn't sure how long it took...but also didn't want to forget about it since I've been busy with work. I'm just used to doing orders in the U.S. where you'd have a tracking number by 48 hours max. Thanks for your help. :)
