Shipping already costs an arm for small 7-inch figures. I can only imagine how much joy a 19lb, 27 inch figure would bring my customs officer...

Pls. Somebody KO this and let me get it under-declared from China .

I can afford to back this, I can't afford to ship it and hit import tax.

Not interest rate, just going under the premise that you would be paying $25 a month, which is two years. Obviously everyone's situation is unique, but throwing the whole "just use a credit card" is bad advice.

Edit: a payment plan or final payment fee isn't unreasonable. Mattel did just that with their castle Grayskull IRCC.

That's sorta what I'm telling myself, plus given the price to weight ratio, this might actually be slightly cheaper than the Falcon was, too.

Hehe, i guess the armada one was in the now called "commander" size class, neat. I had that one as a kid, loved it to bits. I was thinking like, between titan and commander, just exactly half the size of this one. Something that would tower over a leader, but look kinda funny if you put it on the shelf with the other Titans.

Wonder how it will keep itself up, my Trypticon already has trouble standing with the ratchets, and I had to fix the damn thing out of the box. Now I have no issue with tinkering yet, it is expensive and needed fixing. Sigh. But still that already has issues standing. How will Unicron be able to stand and have descent ratchets...

Let's all remember how much MP figures are these days and compare that to this figure.

Think the armada one is bigger then the commander class. He is pretty big but not Trypticon big

Guess you missed where I said use it responsibly? Making minimum payments on it absolutely would be terrible idea, but knocking it out in two or three payments seems pretty reasonable. IDK, just throwing some ideas out there.

No way. Bring back Deadend, the moon minicon from armada. Honestly probably won’t come with anything and that’s okay coz he’s enough a gem as it is

I think the higher backer count maybe due to hasbro trying to "mass produce this" if what they said to ign about attempting to bring it to other countries once they finish it in 2021 is true then this might make sense. It might also be a bit cheaper as I'm sure the backing cost doesn't just include the figure but the cost of producing it as well. Hopefully someone can ask John at sdcc for clarification on this

Much more than 8000 Metroplexes were made though, bringing the final price down.

Yes until you actually try to change it and falls apart in your lap lol. From the wide range of reports on the Downsized CW Devastator that just came out I would not trust some Chinese KO company with this

That's fair enough, but fair being fair, is it not unreasonable to ask a multi-national corporate to let you finance it in the same way a CC would do.

Just ask for a $100-200 deposit fee non-refundable if the pre-order limit is met. Guaranteed that gets more sales than fork over $600 up front now or don't get your plastic crack.
