Can anybody definitively settle for me what batteries I need to get? I have tried the type indicated by the battery cover, the type indicated by online retailers, and one type indicated within this thread and nothing has worked. I just moved and can’t find the instructions, but I’m sure they’d have yet another battery type listed in them that won’t work...

Update after a few months of displaying this figure, months of it just sitting on my shelf without me handling it.
All the neck joints are pretty much all loose. The main connecting joint is all but gone. It has no friction whatsoever, and the rest of the neck joints are all loose too. His head just hits and drags on the ground. I dont even bother to try to pose it anymore. It just makes me so sad and disappointed.

This is one of my favorite figures in my entire collection. But that neck infuriates me to no end, especially because the rest of the figure is just awesome. I have no idea what to do with it anymore.

I'm just getting some frustration out.

Sorry to read that. The neck on mine is still holding strong and I did move it around when I applied the reprolabels set a few weeks back.

Just got the Reprolabels set in for this guy. Hoping to have him dressed up soon. It's pretty bland looking as is. That said, I'm not using the whole set; I just want enough to spruce it up a bit :)

Currently going through a move to our first house (hooray!) and I’m down sizing the shelves a bit. As much as I love this pair, I just don’t have the room. So if anyone wants both Magna and inventa, 100% complete with boxes and everything. I’ll sell them for what I paid.

With his legs fully extended in bird mode he's about 13 inches tall. But if you compress them a bit like in that promo pic you can shave off about an inch or so from him.

I'm having trouble sourcing the lynx part. Does anyone have a source they can recommend?

So I decided to play "Loose Neck Roulette" at TFCON and picked up Inventa. I was finally able to open him up last night. Did my gamble pay off?... nope

I'm able to get his head to stay up in one extreme pulled back position but anything else and his head hits the table. Totally seems like they rushed this guy out the door and he's a definite step down from his cat friend. Oh well, I knew the risks and mixed reviews going in. He'll still look bad ass when combined, I just wish I could actually pose him.

It's a fairly easy fix. I even managed it without destroying any of the screw covers - drilled into them part of the way then used a small screwdriver in the drilled holes to dig in and pull them out. When I finished tightening the screws, I flipped the screw covers around and put the undrilled side facing outward. You shouldn't be expected to fix your expensive toys but at least it's an easy one, right?
