I'm tempted by its exclusivity but, in the end, he's just a super-sized titan at 3.5X the cost. No shelf I own will support a 19 lbs and 30 in wide figure. It's not an easy pass but I doubt I'll end up ordering this, unfortunately.

 

So really, not much more expensive than MP Optimus.

I want this so bad, but there is just no way I can justify spending that much money anymore. Only way I would see it as feasible is if I unloaded a lot of my 3P figures.

They're nice, but I'd have settled for 6 inches smaller, less articulation, and the normal Titan cost.

No toy would ever do him justice. He's big enough for the movie cast to bust out of his eye.

Backed! If you can't afford this, I completely understand, but if you can, you pretty much have to back it. This is something people have be clamoring for for decades and failing to back this may lead to Hasbro not giving us as much attention as their other brands. So if you can afford this, don't cheap out now when you're needed the most!

 

Ordered one and looks like charged my card, probably just a temp charge. Free shipping but about $40 in tax, so it brought it up to $610. 8000 backers is a lot though, curious if it makes it. I am fortunate enough to be at a point where I can manage to afford this, but not going to lie, the price hurts.

 

Huh, they need 8,000 backers to pay up $575USD right when the crowdfund is completed in less than 2 months for a release not scheduled for roughly 2 years. Gotta say, not super optimistic about their chances of success at this point, but if it's looking very likely near the end, I might just throw my hat in the ring, at least then I can rest comfortably knowing 7,999 other people made the same questionable choice I did.

I think I'm in the same place as you. Even if you stick Worlds Smallest Transformers in front of him, he still won't look quite right. You'd need a Unicron the size of a twin bed to start getting remotely close to scale so what's the point?

 

Dang, $575 is more than 3.5 times the price of titan class figure, and only just a few inches taller. He looks beautiful, but I just don't see how he could possibly be worth 3.5 times more than Omega. If he were twice as tall or even 1.5 times as tall maybe I could see it, but this is too much.

 

Shit I'm not sure it'll fit in my house.
