The Worst thing about sl35, is the Shockwave lab don't give any idea about how to use...

 

Has anyone attempted/figured out a way to remove the Volcanicus head from the panel it rests on? It has no screw and it looks like the head is either glued together or clipped together.
Im thinking of transferring the head onto the red OS KO and have it be a new character, oddly enough named Volcanicus, but i just cant figure out a way to remove the head without possibly damaging the head or the panel.

 

These two combiners get a lot of hate but they're really not that bad. Yes, they're stock configuration is pretty lame, but you gotta get creative with them. Getting rid of those terrible Prime Armor hands/feet makes a huge improvement. And I've seen quite a few different fan combinations to give them chest armor. Elita's hips are utter trash but she's standing on her own in these pictures. And I dig the colors. It's different, but it's not distracting. Your attention isn't automatically drawn to her when you look at my display.

I won't deny it: Lancer's paint is LOUD. They definitely could have muted those colors a bit. But I still think she'll look great as a leg for Orthia. Maybe even as an arm too; I'm sure to give both a try. I'm can't wait to have her. Ever since Greenlight was announced I've been dying to complete this time. I think it will be nice to have just one combiner where the limbs are all identical minus the colors. And if I'm being 100% honest, I would actually low-key LOVE it if TDW released a recolored Starscream upgrade kit for her. Cape and all. I think it would look badass. I'm thinking white hands and feet with a faded blue cape. That would be awesome.

 

Cutthroat could've been done much better.
His entire beast head just popped off less than 30 minutes ago, and I've barely even touched him. His crest and beak also fell off too. This is disappointing.

 

That's pretty common, unfortunately. However, you can dip the head in very hot (not boiling) water and give it a gentle squeeze while it cools to make it hold tighter. I did that right after I got mine and had problems. It's been stable ever since.

Wish 3p released a good upgrade kit for elita.. she really sucks as a torso unless you modify her like this. Although still looks like she is doing a handstand a bit,still much better than stock.

 

I'm betting once PE or TDW see how much people want an upgrade for her now that she's getting a complete team, they'll make one. At least I hope.

 

There are some upgrades on Thingiverse, but I don't really care for any of the CW or POTP upgrades.

 

My KO OS red Grimlock came in today.
