I paid off a credit card today to use strictly for all of the upcoming Marvel Legends. I can't go overboard since the credit limit is $300, but that should be more than enough to get all of the must owns.

God dammit. I was going to make this joke, but figured I would then get an infraction for making a political post.

It's killing me no Colossal Juggs pre-orders on the go-to sites.

I'm self aware, like Deadpool, and his 5 figures per waves, 2x

I’m considering getting that newly announced Switch lite just so I can get UA3. It looks sooo fun! I can only play Spider-Man PS4 so many times! (Okay not fully true but still)

I was about to ask you guys what you used, but I see now. Do you think a simple thin sharpie would work? It’s probably nowhere near as good of quality as fine tip gundam markers, but I’m just curious. Great work either way to both of you!

We’re supposed to mod in our assigned forums, but not from me you wouldn’t. Walmart toy distribution sucks ass, they let me down consistently. Nothing political about it!!

I wouldn't recommend even the thin point Sharpie, partly because I think even that's too large a point, but also because the weblines aren't always clear cut & easy to follow, which means you'll most likely miss a few.

I'd suggest trying some acrylic paint with a good amount of thinner mixed in. That way, you should be able to follow the weblines easier, and it's not a disaster if you mess up. It'll also make for a more subtle appearance, which would be more movie-accurate. My figure turned out fine from a comic book aesthetic, but my lines are way too thick and dark to be movie-accurate.

    Sharpie will also turn purple.

I ran out of ink on the lower half of his face. The last part. Gotta wait until Monday, to get to Hobby Lobby.

There's 2 things that I've used which have worked well in my experience:
    • Gundam Weathering water based marker, I used grey, it may have been "GM21". Make sure it's water-based! It's got a brush tip. There are others that are oil-based I think and may not react well to Marvel Legends plastic.
    • Sakura Pigma Micron black brushpen marker
Both clean up wish cotton buds, tissue paper, etc but you have to be quick wiping off the excess if you use the Sakura brushpen. The Gundam weather of pen is more forgiving. A plastic eraser(you can find some at an art store) helps too. The brushtips won't fray as bad as the felt tip on a Sharpie, plus Sharpie black ink isn't archival(turns purple over time).

Probably the new best Cap figure, even beating out the higher-end versions. I guess I have to get it now.

Oh shit...I repainted my studio series Ratchet with black sharpie. Didn’t know that. Welp, that’s not good...too late now. :confused2

Perfection. I can only hope for their Mark 85 to be this great, fingers crossed!

I love seeing all the new figures but it keeps making mad that they’re not even up for preorder! I NEED that Colossus in my life. Also still waiting on Nightcrawler Storm, Iceman, Hulk and Wolvie. Because of the videos it feels like they’ve been out for a while. Where are mine Hasbro?

In my 12 years of collecting Transformers and Marvel Legends, I felt that this is the timeline where Hasbro went aggressively putting out figures left & right like bat shit crazy.

I think it was last year's the starting high point where Hasbro putting out their releases where some collectors can't keep up the purchases unlike before that you can rest your wallet a bit and take a breather and recover.

So to review, we have now the ff.out altogether for just this fooking month of July:
    - Family Matters 3-pack
    - X-Force Wave
    - Endgame Wave 2
    - X-Men Retro Wave 3
    - 80th Anniversary Packs.
    - did i miss anything?

....and SDCC is just around the corner.

    WTH Hasbro?

What's funny is this stuff will hit all at once like this... and than you'll get a lull for a couple of months. It all boils down to the product you personally want to buy too. I mean... it's not like Hasbro is making everyone buy everything or even expects them to do so.

With endgame war machine I’m only waiting for a mark 85 endgame iron man and maybe fat Thor. Then I’ll be done with the mcu for a bit and will focus on the comic lines. I just hope the Juggernaut/Colossus two pack isn’t hard to find or the 80th Cap.

Storm is shipping if you preordered in-store.

What Dexter is using. I use Treehouse Matte spray, though.

The pen is $2 with 40% coupon at Hobby Lobby. Buy two, I guess.

You'll need to use a gloss coat first, if panel lining custom paint.

Not done. Forgot a web line on his foot.
