I got this about 3 months ago and it was very loose. I ended up using pledge Floor polish on literally every single joint in the figure and did the same thing with overlords shoulders and it has worked wonders.

    Good to know!

How did you let it “seep”? Did you just add a drop or two around each joint and let gravity do the work?

While I was duel-wielding Platinum Megatron and Sixshot, I realized why Sixshot had to have a submarine mode instead of a laser gun: it's not that Hasbro won't do toy guns (that very Megatron came out around the same time; see also NERF and various Star Wars and other role play toys), it's that they would have had to put an orange cap on Sixshot somehow--and that seems impossible to do without ruining the toy....

I got this toy a few days ago from a Walmart.

Not a bad toy for what it is. Robot mode is the best mode of the bunch obviously. :p

As if a giant green and purple gun wasn't obvious enough that its a toy?

I got the Legends version for my son as one of his Xmas gifts. I gave up on CHUG a long time ago but there's no denying how much fun this toy is. It is built well too. Nice solid plastic and no signs of stress-marks etc. Could do with better guns and a sword but I have enough parts lying around to remedy that at some point.

If that's what it takes for you to not get shot at by the police for carrying a possible weapon.

Regardless of how stupid it looks, you do not want to get shot at, and even less so by the people that are supposed to protect you.

I just realized Revolver can serve as a trigger in upside down submarine mode (aka laser pistol mode). There's a peg right where a trigger would be and if you stand him there (he will be upside down in gun mode), he's a perfect trigger!

I just can't get enough of this figure. I now have the LG-50 version, and it's spectacular.
While I love the toy deco of the Hasbro version, the LG-50 version is stunning. The purple legs aren't as bright as some pics show, but they are still too bright. They needed to be the same color as the Hasbro version. I was going to swap them, but doing so would take away the wonderful flat black of the Takara version, so I'm letting it go as it is. I can live with the purple.
I added wing tips, though. I know they aren't animation accurate, but I just think they needed to be there. I like that design element.

I have Quickswitch and both Sixshots, plus Greatshot on pre-order.
    Love this mold.

Am I correct in thinking that the legs don't tab into anything in tank mode after you disengage the inner leg hinges from the robot mode position?

The knees do have a lock position (an actual clicky lock), but the legs don't actually tab into anything.

Thanks to you both. It's a shame, since otherwise the tank would go on the pile of good modes. As is, despite having dedicated details and engineering, the legs/turret make it feel too much like a fan mode. Similar to the wolf, but in that case the dubious back half is an inherited problem.

Actually, I would like to see a fully original design with 5 or 6 modes. Sixshots both official and unofficial, always feel like they are held back by the original blueprint- the wolf legs are the robot legs bent forwards, the car's front wheels are set fairly far back, ect. And if you try and solve those things, you end up with something which is too involved for a transformer with six modes, ala DX9. Hasbro succeeds with 4/6 modes, in my eyes, because while abstract, it's really easy to go back and forth.

Possibly an isolated tolerance issue but potential warning to my fellow TR Sixshot owners, while messing about with him today during a Toyhax cherrypicking stickering, I have discovered one of the arms (the left one) on my copy of Revolver has stress cracked at the balljoint cup, it's not dropping off loose just detectably so but I'm still giving it a precautionary superglue to hopefully head any possible progression.

Hurm, think I'll check wee Dynamus too...

I want to find ways to improve his shoulder articulation. Perhaps cutting off the plastic that binds the pin and replacing the pin with a flat screw. This allowing the shoulder to move up. Not sure if that would work. If not then I just settle for Fanstoys hydra or Dx Hanzo.

TR Sixshot also work with SH Figurart's or Figma's replacement face.

Okay real talk here you make me spit my drink in the break room at work, equal parts laughter and horrified scream. Well played.

Man, so I pulled my Sixshot out recently to see how he looks with my new Decepticon clones and I thought I was pleasantly surprised. I remember being really disappointed in Sixshot when it came out. I cycled through his alt-modes and had a lot of fun and then I got to the robot mode and I remembered why he was so disappointing.

Aside from his hips being loose (which I don't remember), he's just so unposable in robot mode. No usable shoulder spread, 45 degree bend at the elbows, his ankle tilts are so extreme that his only usable leg articulation is the thigh swivels unless you want a ridiculously obtuse A pose, and his proportions don't look good to me, he winds up just so skinny looking. Plus while I really like his Titan Master (in a leader, at least) I'm terrified to try to take him out due to being entirely covered in paint.

    Just... disappointing.
