Of that exactly, I don't think so. I sold off my Herc in favor of GT Black Judge. A quick net search and I found a few pictures of guys doing something very similar, though. I hope this helps/inspires you to get creative. yV8YRq7_d.jpg

Ah I see, that does work rather nicely. I'll still be ordering Echo's part in time however since it looks like it'll make the upper area feel more complete.

Still pretty concerned about that Scrapper/Structor shoulder ratchet though, can't find anything about it.

Got my Hercules after all these years. All of them have been decent with a lot of tight joints and some not so tight joints. One area that’s uber tight are the arm connectors on dr crank. Is there a way to loosen the connection port?(I remember seeing some reviews where they connect the arms easily) Also my mad blender came with 2 black pegs in a little zip lock bag and I’m not sure where they’re supposed to go

Which predaking is this again. I was contemplating Herc. I really like the Takara one I have but ultimately I’m of the uniform combiner size religion

That port will loosen with use; rapidly. Just be sure to gently rotate as you're attaching/detaching the arms.

I just got my Perseus and attached the included Rage parts on the shoulder joints. I ABSOLUTELY cannot get the one on Bonecrusher off, it's way too tight. Does anyone have a way of getting it off safely? I really don't want to ruin this set.

All I can say is I wish you luck. Couple years back I got the rage set and attached it to Hercules. When the time came to disassemble him again, I ran into the same problem you did. Bone rusher absolutely could not pull apart from Hook.

So, after a lot of scratching my head and gentle prying, I did the idiot thing and pulled as hard as I could. The two toys came apart. But the rage shoulder connector pulled Hook's combiner peg clear out of the toy, shearing away the plastic post it was mounted to inside his body.

To this day that connector port is still lodged in the rage shoulder connector. Hook wasn't destroyed but he'd never be able to combine again. Even if I could get him repaired, I doubt the fixed connector would sustain another attempt at combining.

I picked up a replacement Dr. Crank from BBTS when they had them on sale for 40 a piece. If I ever put Hercules together again, it won't be with the rage parts.

I used shock oil. That will help you, the rage kit isn’t exactly molded the best oiling those joints was the only way I could make the kit work.

Thanks for all the help, I just got it off by dipping the connection in some scalding hot water to heat up the socket. That brings me to another question, there's a chance some water got into the ratchet (not submerged, but that's where the socket is after all). Has anyone ever gotten some water in on their Hercules and the joints rusted to the point of breaking? I'm a paranoid, so this might be completely unwarranted fear.

If I recall correctly, those shoulder joint ratchets (and most other joints) don’t have springs so you should be fine

Use a hair dryer, it's the greatest method to manipulate plastic. I don't know why people risk ruining their figures dipping them in hot water.

My hairdryer can't reach a heat even nearly as hot as that water can, like I'd probably have burnt myself if I'd dipped my hand in.

No springs? How do they work?

They’re not “ratchets”. Just simple tooth-&-tooth detents. simple plastic pieces that have stops moulded in. Like a cog wheel or gear whose teeth find resistance against another piece of plastic.

What people call “ratchet” joints are typically more complicated things involving springs to create pressure and tension.

Interesting, I would've assumed a proper ratchet to be on a combiner shoulder

Especially in Long Haul's/Dev's hips. They just destroy themselves with very little use.

The first release in the green box yes, the second release in the silver box doesn't have this issue.

I'm more concerned over Scrapper's shoulder ratchets. I fixed them with locktight after they shredded themselves once, but its left me afraid to transform him.
