Peculiar - now the Game Stop website says "unavailable online", and you can't place an order.

Hope everyone got their order placed. Seeing how the pre-orders began MONTHS ago, I assume everyone did. I didnt hear about this until last month. I seem to be the Johnny-come-lately in this thread.

 

Just got mine. Aside from have no ratchets in the knees, I really like him.

 

Are these officially out then? I have a PO at Gamestop and haven't been notified that it's arrived.

 

My order from Pulse was canceled last night. Apparently when I pre-ordered back in Feb I used an account that has since been updated with the expiration date, as things do. It said to update the payment but there was no option to do so. Customer Service said I had to reorder it, but of course it is out of stock now and they had no solution for me. So I paid $20 extra and bought it from Gamestop...

...I'm never using Pulse again, this was the third error on their part that they couldn't fix.

 

I was able to order one today from their online store after Pulse canceled my without any assistance.

That is a big pile of manure! Sorry that happened. I ended up ordering two on Monday. Should arrive next week.

 

I guess it depends on the store. I checked in with the location where I have my preorder in person today ( also was putting money into another preorder), and they said they're still waiting for their shipment to come in.

 

Just an FYI, I would be leary of hasbro pulse, I'm not saying to stop using them, but watch your credit card and personal information. I order laserbear and ravage about a month ago and a few days later I got a call from my credit card company stating my info was compermised during the transaction. This was the first time this has happened. Just keep an eye on your credit and personal information using Hasbro Pulse.

 

Thanks for the update but I think I should be OK, the expiration data on the info they have is not valid any more, which is why the pre-order got canceled. I just got an email from them last night at 11PM stating that they had reserved another Ectotron for me, but I only had until the EOD 7/8/19 to complete the order. Needless to say I missed that window of 1 hour to do so. Screw them, they aren't getting anything from me moving forward.

On the bright side, my order from Gamestop is scheduled for delivery for today   At a $20 up charge no less but it was worth it.

Did you choose “ship to store”? If so, I would call the store it is supposed to be shipped to and ask if they have received it. I have preordered from GameStop before and, unknowingly, almost forfeited the figure. I assumed they would call me when it arrived, but they didn’t. I just happened to visit the store on the expected release date to check and discovered that it was there. They told me they have a policy in which the figure can be sold if you don’t pick it up within a certain amount of time. That sounds like bullshit to me...especially since I had already prepaid for it. The people at the store even said they were hoping that I wouldn’t show so one of them could buy it. Again, I don’t know if they were misinformed...but you ought to give them a call if it is being shipped to a store.

Bitchin’! You must have a more honest group of GameStop employees than I do...lol...unless mine were just messing with me...they seemed serious, though.

It appears that someone offered him for $79.99, the same price as Siege Jetfire, since that price tag was listed in Amazon\'s search bar result, but he sold out by the time I clicked on his webpage, so now his current price tag is $99.98. Hopefully Ectotron goes down in price after Amazon Prime Day. For now Gamestop has a better offer on this Transformers and Ghostbusters crossover toy.

 

those are just 3rd party sellers. it wont be available for regular price on amazon ever because it is a gamestop/hasbro pulse shared exclusive, anyone else selling it would have had to have bought it from one of those two places so they will always be marked up

 

Actually some websites, such as Amazon that get their Transformers toys shipped out directly from the factory in Vietnam get the exclusives as well, so hopefully Ectotron will due the same.
