And depending on continuities, you can include Thunderwing, Overlord, and Deathsaurus.

Giving even more cred to these Deathsaurus rumors! Idk I like him but I’ve never had a big connection to him.

Star Saber and Deathsaurus would make perfect Voyager central figures for the first wave of whatever comes next in the WFC trilogy.

Voyager? Hell no. They should be leader class- and I mean ORIGINAL leader class size, not the shrunken down ones we got this year.

@catz are the chances good for a WFC Trilogy Star Saber figure? ss03.jpg

Star Saber is a weird one. He’s massive but not Skyfire massive. Definitely would want one in this line though, never got the MP or even saw Victory but there’s something about his character that I love.

I’d say that a tall leader class with a smallish voyager Saber could work since as far as I’m aware he’s not really been shown alongside the original ‘84 cast.

Only wheeljack and preceptor from the first two seasons as far as I can remember, with saber (inner bot) being somewhere between wheeljack and ironhide in size

Well in that case I think maybe they could get away with Starsaber as a whole being a huge voyager, and having Saber roughly about the size of Ironhide to be on the taller size but then again we need to see if we’re getting Wheeljack in Armageddon if we’re going that route for scale.

I’d say that it’s almost certain since he’s shown up a lot on the box art.

Star Saber (fully formed up) is around the size of your average combiner, regularly going toe to toe with 5-6 member teams. Commander Class seems the most appropriate, with an "inner" Voyager.

Yeah, that’s fair. I think that it’d rub people the wrong way to have him bigger than a leader though. Despite not having a basis of his size to begin with generally.

Personally I’d want a Prime Wars leader size so he’s larger than Magnus but not as huge as Skyfire with a large deluxe saber (Siege Ironhide size) inner bot but that’s just me :)

That works too. Dia Atlas is around the same size as Star Saber (if not slightly bigger) and people underestimate just how much the Overlord Retool's giant wings add to his presence until they see pics. He's HUUUUGE.

Given how Skyfire is Commander class and he's as tall as the combiner bots, well, in the anime, Starsaber was just as tall as Leokaizer so it fits to the scale. Hopefully Takara will do one.

I’ve contemplated picking up that set since Dai Atlas has always been cool looking to me, just not sure if I want to pay what Kapow wants for it.

I got TR Overlord yesterday as a random purchase and he’s pretty nice..my Decepticons need reinforcements anyway since Siege has been Autobot heavy and I’m trying to be a completionist with this trilogy. I’m hoping part 2 is crammed with cons.

I figure though that in my head canon that a WFC Starsaber will be an Autobot weapon designed to combat the phase sixers (already got Sixshot just need Skyshadow).

I believe he was cheated out the POTP vote by Primal was he not along with two others I don’t remember

I’m sure Hasbro and TT want to make him and I really hope that they do.

If the rumors are true, we'll find out who the next Commander is in a few days. I'm betting it'll either be Broadside/Tidal Wave or Star Saber. Not a lot of other characters it could be.

My bets are Star Saber if I’m honest. Broadside has been done in TR even though I thought he should have been leader..I’d love a Tidal Wave though.

Would be cool if he was inspired by the Armada toy/game. Prefer that green over the purple and black if I’m honest.

I hope the next Titan is Scorponok, can’t see who else it could be at this point. They know we want it.

Oh, we're definitely getting Scoponok before much longer. And yeah, I can see Tidal Wave working REALLY well as a Commander, with the Micromasters being functionally the same as the Minicons. It'd also be nice to have someone as tall as Jetfire staring him down from the Decepticon's side.

I just don't see them making an aircraft carrier like him without leaving open the possibility of a Broadside retool.

I can see Hasbro making Star Saber at the Commander Class price point but make him smaller than Jetfire and round out the cost by giving him the smaller inner robot with a few extra accessories, like the remaining two rescue patrol members.

As long as we get star saber with all the components the character is meant to have, I’m good with commander. It just means some cons have to be huge as well which is always strange to see size creep but we know nothing about all these Japanese characters and what size they should be in an American g1 setting. They really could keep the apparently massive size from the anime but we all know the sizes post season 3 are totally bogus and inconsistent most of the time over there ;-)

I can see a Sandstorm turning up, but I want him to be his own mold.

Broadside would be nice at commander class, but I’d honestly prefer Sandstorm and Broadside to be voyagers like Springer.

They could have Broadsides carrier mode be fudged into a “hovering” artillery platform similar to how Refraktors alt mode looks. It’d be nice if he was the biggest voyager so he could stay compatible with Micromasters in a different way like a fold out runway for the rumoured Autobot jet Micromasters in that 10-pack
