In dubio about this figure. Like that it has the ramp function which ver. 1 didn't have, like that the Newage carbots can be stalled in the trailer (if I remember correctly) but with MFT scale this is going to be a very large bot to add to my DX9/Newage collection and my IF collection already has a Ultra Magnus.

Not a big enough fan of the character to give him his own display.

Think I'll wait till someone places a few pictures of him with Newage figures both in bot as alt mode to make the descision of buying or not.

If BBTS or Robotoybase doesn't catch up with preorders soon, I'll have to start buying these MFT figures from ShowZ. Also it would be great if MFT did this in Powered Convoy colors too.

 

There's never been a reason not to for me. Can't beat free shipping.

 

When BBTS put Sideswipe, Red Alert, and Hound up close together, I thought they were going to carry the line regularly. I asked about Grapple and Inferno and the answer was basically "stay tuned." They are really haphazard with these smaller figures in general. Tony seems to pick and choose what he's going to carry too.

I ordered the DX9 Dinobot set from ShowZ. It's not out yet, so I don't know how delivery is, but I didn't like not getting an order notification e-mail and the PayPal e-mail being completely nondescript. But if that's the only way I can get legends, I'll have to cope.

 

Thanks Fred! You are absolutely right about MST in term of MF existing. If it wasn't for my limited of space, I would have purchased the MST version and DX9 Ranton too. My collection has been very selective these last few years due to space issue. With that being said, I still prefer the partial clear chest of MST/MP22 over MF UM2.0 solid red entirely. It helps to break up the red. Also I think MF missed the opportunity considering all that extra work for the Matrix cavity chest but only to cover it up with a solid panel.

 

I hear you about limited space (it's one of the reasons I only collect Legends now) and prefer the clear chest too. But I'm sure someone will come up with a fix for that. I hope so, because the figure is aces otherwise!

 

I don't think I've ever seen BBTS carrying figures that were KO, with the exceptuon of the Wei Jiang Omega Supreme. That one was an oddity.

 

I want to see the trucks size.

I got MFT's first UM, the OS KO if IF's. Then I got PPT's take. I like both. This looks better, I will likely get it too. Really looks the part.

Can't wait to see how it compares in alt mode with HS Prime. One thing I love about PPTs is how well it alt-scales with HS Prime. If this gets it right I will be like "PPT who"? Hahaha...

 

Sad thing is, I think PPT left the building. They haven't posted anything new on their Weibo since 2018.
