I love Magic Square, but I have had issues like this with them in the past. My Ultra Magnus came with two left hands and my Red Alert had two right feet. The bulk of my figures have been fine (and I own damn near everything MS has made), but they occasionally have some assembly errors like these.

That base piece is a nice surprise, I hope they keep adding them to other future figures......

 

That would be kinda cool, Ratchet with a med table, Wheeljack with a lab piece etc

 

I was going to suggest reaching out to Baba. I had bought the IF Skyfire, and months later realized I had two left boosters (box was sealed). I reached out just in case, and he got back to me, asked for pics, confirmed everything and got me the right-sided booster. I was very impressed. Happy to hear he's working to help you out.

Delta Mags arrived yesterday....

He's a great action figure just like his compadre Ultra Mags. His color scheme is goofy per usual. The base piece he comes with is rad, I hope they pack in some more of these on future releases......

 

This is news! I hope they do this with all new releases. I don't want to buy their base builder stuff, but I'm happy to take it as freebies.

An animation colors version is coming...

So... Red on the chest, no silver on the legs, and red on the bumper. Nah, no way am I buying it again for that.

 

Looks like the grill is painted and not chromed this time, so that should get rid of that ugly break mark on the grill's side.

 

And darker, toon-style blue. That's the difference that jumps out to me most. And it looks very nice, but yeah, not "buy it again" nice!  

 

^Not even with the "free" orange base piece? Man, you guys have way more will power than I do, 7-step program here I come......

 

This news would've excite me like crazy if I hadn't know MF UM2.0 also has red bumper. On the other hand, I can ease my relaxation on MF UM2.0 knowing that I can always go back to MS UM animation color should MF ditch out the red bumper, lol. In the end, I'll likely get both version. That is, MF UM2.0 for the robot mode display (also the cool Matrix chest cavity and awesome head/face) and MS for the alt.mode display now that it has the red bumper also. If MS include a white filler for the alt.mode front trailer when the missile launcher is configured in toon mode, that would justify the purchase even more. Oh, that chest sticker/panel is coming off when I get him. It looks better with the glass chest like the G1 toy and TFTM/MP22 version.

 

Well, I do like these colors better . . .  

But seriously, if I find MST UM v2 too big in bot mode (I don't expect to, but it's possible), I might grab this one. Also, I did have some custom ideas for my original MST UM and this one would give me a spare . . .

Wait and see-ers may want to reconsider, the say this will be a limited release:

Small Q group is referring to their fan chat, on an IM platform called QQ.
