Nice. Assuming he'll be available to purchase through Hasbro Pulse?

More than likely. Every selects release so far that has released in the states (except redwing) has been on pulse, and that was likely an error on targets part for putting it up early

That would be kinda cool if they did make them Combiner Limbs. Takara Nosecone, POTP Dreadwind And CW Wheeljack respectively. All with new heads of course. Though, i've heard they gunna use Brunt to be retooled into the Drill Powerdasher. I guess they have some alternative transformation to make the drill tank mode.

How cool is this? Way to go Hasbro, if this 'Galactic Man' re-colour isn't straight up for the long-time fans then I don't know what is.
First Lancer and now this, it's like Hasbro is making stuff just for me and my obscure characters love. Although I remember him as Astro Magnum rather than Galactic Man, as that was what he was sold as in UK Tandy stores. I still have my original Astro Magnum in his original box, and he was (and still is) my stand-in G1 Shockwave. The Siege line and it's offshoots are knocking it out of the park at the moment.
I need me some Omnibots and Powerdashers next!

Not gonna lie, my tummy tingled like I was on a trampoline for the first time when I saw this news.

You DO realize Hasbro hasn't done that deco since the original hit despite multiple Shockwave toy releases, right?

You DO realize that this was one of the items "predicted" last week/earlier this week, right?

These Select Series or whatever they are called are all bonuses in my mind - they all seem fringe enough that there will be people unhappy with a reveal no matter what is revealed. So far, aside from picking up the Combat Megs for my wife, this will be the first one I buy. I've passed on the others just as others will likely pass on this.

But for sure I am buying this one. It's Shockwave. They could paint him ANY color and I'd still buy it.

I’m guessing TFWiki will still be pissed at the lack of Onyx armour.

Wonderful! Honestly im loving the idea of moving some of the repaints into strange omage territory and putting them in generations selects, between Shackwave, Redwing, and Red swoop among others, specialty releases of figures that hit marks that maybe more casual fans wouldn't appreciate is a WONDERFUL idea for a mail in service.

The people who appreciate these releases are also the ones who wont be bothered heading online to pick them up. People who would rather stay with the main releases have the convenience of just grabbing them in stores.

Generations selects has me PLEASANTLY surprised. Maybe we'll get a Black Zarak when they finally get around to a Titan Scorponok, the possibility are endless really. I'll always subscribe to the idea that the more figures there are on the market, repaints or not, the more likely people are going to get the exact figure they want c:

Weird. I had a Galactic Man figure from RadioShack. But he looked like Robocop and had buttons on his back that made sounds and you could put a gun in his hand and it would light up.
