Awesome. I have a lot of nostalgia for Shackwave since that's the only version of that mold I played with as a kid. I didn't personally have it but a friend of mine did.

I never even bothered to acquire a Shockwave for my G1 collection but I do have a complete Galactic Man. The real deal by ToyCo, not one of the KO's

So far, I have held off buying Seige Shockwave but this is more tempting.

Guess the select line made of repainted is here to compensate lack of hascon / Botcon exclusives. These are way more affordable at least

 

This is begging for a Longarm Prime upgrade kit! New head, hand(s), and crane parts... surely I’m not alone in wanting something like this.

 

Will he still be $50?

 

More things like Devcon from TR Scourge, or Nightbird or Paradron Medic, or Richochet, or Skywarp, Thundercracker and Smokescreen.
I'm glad they are using it for Diaclone and G2 stuff. I know there are people who want those and it's cool Generations Select can provide those deco's. But about five figures in I haven't seen much to exite me.

So is the price. I wonder who will get it other than total TF and " diaclone/pre-TF" fanatics. Shockwave itself is already a rather expensive "uptiered" Voyager. He doesn't have a proper transformation without the parts. Unless the nod to the gun is anything. I love the figure I do really. Yet it isn't all that special. And I believe this repaint falls flat on its behind. Simply because unless you are a lore and history of TF fan this isn't for you.

Yeah Shackwave was the one I had as a kid, so this is very exciting! Wish it didn't come with all that extra crap, but I'll live.

 

I'm sure they'll get around the ones you want eventually. I mean they were able to bring us some pretty lesser known repaints such as the unreleased G2 Megatron repaint along with Shockwave's pre TF color scheme so there's a good chance those will happen too. Also Galactic Man Shockwave wasn't part of Diaclone he was originally from another company.

 

Lancer looks a lot better here than in the original picture.
