I would LOVE to get a Mirage-Bot repaint of this, I don't know why I feel like that would work so well

This whole figure reeks of experimentation, doing neat stuff for the sake of neatness, and I love it

 

I always found these lines to be majority boring, uninspired junk (emphasis on majority, there's some figures I love). It made me particularly sad that Blot, one of my favorite G1 characters, was one of my most disappointing purchases of 2018.

 

Okay, but the alt mode still kinda looks like shit to me. Still these are just pictures I may like it more in hand.

 

This is why i am gonna eventually switch to just Masterpiece i am MP-05 & MP-13B but othet then i hsve every G1, Beast Wars & Movie "Masterpiece" figures. (I collect Fans Toys full on too, but separately).

My Blot wasnt too bad if yout talking about loose joints but it doesn't help when Hun-gurrr is super loose comparably. Especially since he has to hold the figure. My favorite Combiner is Starscream from POTP. So hopefully the female Combiner ORTHIA will be the same (still need Elita 1, & Greenlight. Let alone Lancer. lol.).

 

Titans Return was awesome though.
Best Transformers toyline we got so far.
Pity they dropped the quality so deep after potp and we got this pityful junk Siege toyline.
Wish we could go back to the greatness of CW and TR.
So much awesome characters. Such great toys!

The CW deluxes weren't boring?

I'm talking about him being basically the same boringly engineered figure as every other deluxe in CW/PotP, the only cool part is the way the "nose monster's" fingers join when you fold out the robot hands

 

The Siege deluxes haven't been boring so far?
I can't imagine how anyone can seriously consider the CW deluxes boring.
Even the Aerialbot and Stunticon molds are still loads of fun years after their release.

Nah, I still think Sureshot should get a new mould.

He can then be repainted/remoulded into Joyride and Ruckus.

 

People think the combiner wars deluxes are boring because the majority of them have identical engineering.

 

I also wasn’t too crazy about how the majority of the toys had the connection piece as the chest. It made them all too similar.

Some of the Siege Deluxes are pretty boring (Sideswipe and Prowl come to mind) but most of them are pretty cool, yeah. I think a lot of this probably comes down to the fact that I would imagine that you don't care as much about the engineering in your consideration of how interesting a figure is, would you say that's accurate?

 

I've got a take on these guys it's pretty controversial I know but uh
I kinda just think they look pretty neat

 

What color is the sky in your world?  

 

To a certain extent. I'm actually quite tempted by the Prowl mold. But I find myself attracted and repulsed in equal measure by the Ironhide mold and the Mirage mold.
It's not boring. It's more that they are too much of a mixed package. And that's not always to do with the engineering.
The one I do find boring is Megatron. Although the colors of the unreleased G2 exclusive make it look more attractive.

 

Blue. I imagine it's got more exiting colors where you live.
