Bout time. I still dunno where Greenlight's being sold as far as the US goes (was it only listed on Amazon Canada so far?) but man I can't wait to snag her and Lancer. Glad this really did happen. I plan to keep Elita unopened till the whole gang's here.

 

It’s cool this team gets to finally be complete. Although, I am reminded of that Botcon set where all the female Bots were made from Energon Arcee and it’s a bit disappointing that 15 years later they’re still limited to being made from pretty much one mold.

why am I so excited for a mold I have 4 others of?

 

As far as the color goes I can see how it'd stand out to people but I personally feel it works ok. Novastar's pretty bright as well while Greenlight seems a little more subdued similar to Moonracer so they all sort of balance each other out.

I suppose at least this time the mold generally suits them better and on top of that they've all gotten unique heads. I've also strangely embraced the idea of one mold as it makes them an unintentional but intesting counterpart of sorts to the Seekers.

Counting Chromia granted not having her I can't really comment but I'm under the impression she's like the CW heavy retools or parts shares.

 

If this is a Selects run figure, doesn't that mean that it should be available through Hasbro Pulse at some point? Seeing that Robot Kingdom sold out of its final restock already is frustrating.

Well, Hasbro Pulse is kind of frustrating in itself because shipping to Canada is ridiculous it starts at like $15 US and scales up as I buy more instead of being like US shipping which is free after $50). It'd be nice if they could come up with a Canadian distributor with reasonable shipping prices. Or make Selects run figures available through EBGames or Amazon.ca or something else.

Chromia is not the same mold. The only parts they reused are the thighs and tires. Every single other piece on her is totally new and different. Her back doesn't even have the dimensions for a combiner port and her joints are almost all different, so if you wanted to do some part swapping, it would not work.

She's as much the same mold as the CW mold as Energon Starscream is the same mold as G2 Smokejumper.

 

SHe\'s really grown on me.  She\'s not that bad looking after her colors half blind you.

 

I really want Greenlight and Lancer like right now! Agh! eBay prices are ridiculous and I may have to wait a very long time before it makes it East side. Since changing their factories. China has been ridiculously slow to deliver. At least when they do deliver, it's in spades. Seeing more pictures is making me really thirsty for some fembot action. Hurrrrryyyyy!

 

It would appear that I'm in the minority here. I quite like the mish-mash of colours on display here. All the neons and pastels really make for a unique look, not particularly common in the Transformers toyline.

...Admittedly, I have a bit of soft spot when it comes to garish and bright coloured 'Bots and 'Cons. There's a certain charm to them. I love me some Action Master Thundercracker....Yes, I said it.

It is a shame that Hasbro didn't go with the full-on PINK scheme with Elita, now looking at the full combined form. That would have really popped.

On another note, I wonder if they'll do a box set of these gals. Perhaps some sort of special/exclusive release? That'd be neat.

On Abominus I took the panels in the hand parts from Cut Throat and the other fella and modded them to sit snugly in the foot compartment to act as panel covers. I kinda dig it. On Inferno I used two matching Enigma thingies for his combiner feet. Another thing I'd like some 3rd Party companies to make. Fillers for Hasbro feet and recolored Hasbro feet, lol.

No, I honestly like the colors a lot too. If you stagger the colors so there's a greenish arm on one side with the leg on the other being green I find it balances. I certainly like this combiner better than Victorion which was just green and reds and it looked bland. I even like the mostly maroon colors on Elita there...though I really wish they had left the feet unpainted pink, lol.

 

Even though I'm 3/5 of the way there already these all seams like a lot of work to complete such an ugly looking combiner.
