For me, I am not pissed at repaints as long as it doesn't hold back other stuff, but they do. Why can't we have the first batch of Jabber instead of this?

Yeah, but they could have released the first batch of Breakdown, or Skydive or MANY other things they've teased. Let's not even talk about new figures though. They are releasing Silverbolt in several batches, with the second batch only coming two months from now. It's obvious factory time is taken up by this.

 

Haven't seen a single statement that said he was purposely delayed, but he does keep getting pushed back. He was due before the combiners, then he was due as one of the singles in between combiner team members, then he was due after silverbolt, now he's reportedly coming after the one after silverbolt which is going to be breakdown because FT loves contradicting themselves.

 

I really hope so, if that is the case I might bite and buy another one....

I hope the paint doesn't get scratched as easily as with the original version.

 

Breakdowns next and the way recent posts have been worded, especially on Breakdown they havent finalized the figure yet

He is delayed because of this. Really everything's delayed because of these repaints. Breakdown's done, we've seen a painted copy since forever, same as Jabber. At this speed, we'll be lucky if we have 3 new figures for the rest of the year. I wouldn't be surprised if they reissue the Dinobots next. Why? Because Giga is releasing their Grimlock.

 

Last post on breakdown had something to the effect of “color not final” so who knows.
Yeah i can easily see a dinobot reissue coming up
Chill tho we already have 3 releases and its about halfway into the year with several more pretty much done

 

I just realized I never was able to pry his damn IDW swords from their scabbards ... any pro tips from those that succeeded in the struggle? (these are the little failings with 3P, like the tractor beam attachment w/XTB’s Klaatu and Hoodlum’s chest paint chip that drive me absolute bonkers sometimes)

 

That's just their new cover line to keep everyone's pre-orders until it's too late and the figures are paid for or in-hand and it turns out at least one color on the figure isn't quite the same as expected from the preview photos.   See: Phoenix X's entire finish, Roadking's muted silver torso outline and change to outer arm panels color, Silverbolt's orange instead of gold/yellow.

 

Man this thing makes me want the botcon one that was a Jetstorm repaint.

 

FT knew poor saps such as myself would simply convert the 1st release into his Armada and bite the bullet on both ... evil bastards ... their deceitful nature has robbed food from my family’s tummy  

 

dalianjj has finally done what Unicorn couldn't do i.e. give Cyclonus his darn armada.

 

Other than G2 repaints dalianjj told me won't happen (unless they change their mind of course) Cyclonus was the one I felt was most important. The blue color they did was just wrong. Of course I'm not certain what they have done with 29T is what I actually want due to the issues of photographing purple, but at least it is better than the first run.

 

Question for the fandom: If FT just offered the Pink/Lavender'ish hands,face,thighs would you swap them out if you had the OG? Just a random thought, personally for me I might consider.

 

@XXLMagnus the way I pulled the swords apart is put my thumb and finger on the scabbard part and my other thumb and finger on the sword right beside my other thumb and finer and basically pinch my thumb and finger together on each hand while rolling my two thumbs and two fingers away from each other. I use the sides of my fingers unless they are really really tight then I go fingertip to fingertip. you want your fingers on the scabbard to hang a bit over the edge of the scabbard so you are basically pinching your fingers between the scabbard and your other fingers. It's probably a screwed up way to explain it but I can't take pics.

 

I think a lot of ppl are considering that ...knowing my luck there will be pin removal required and I’ll just have to throw in the towel and drool at the pics of my more talented TF brethren ... womp

did the waist disassembly on MP-30 to move the doors, I'm not really into disassembling bots to make them "right", the white doesn't bother me enough to worry about it on Quietus.
