Yup. Delayed til October. For Japan, it's December 2019 (smart buggers, just in time for Christmas).

I like this stylized version of him. Won\'t beat out dx9 Gabriel by far the best. Fans toys is good too but the legs are not solid, he leans forward. I will get this when it  comes out

 

@SaintsIconsNemesis, you cannot compare a Hasbro Transformer made for a child, with all the safety protocols at a price of $150, to a Masterpiece scaled collector display figure which costs around $300+. This Omega and Jetfire are decent pieces that look to display well (do not own either piece yet), but I do own both Fanstoys Terminus, DX9 Gaberiel, and Phoenix, all these pieces do the same thing well, which is collect dust.

 

I disagree. They are made for people who remember g1. Don’t think those kids remember skyfire or omega in those forms if at all and they are not on sale in the local stores. You can only get them online. Well toys are us would have gotten them. Everything collects dust doesn’t matter what you collect so I don’t know what was the point of that statement. The price point is because they use cheaper material and it is more affordable to the parents who would remember those toys more and get it for their kids to show them what they grew up with. The discussion itself is futile because both sides can be argued. And of course you can compare the two. They are toys from different companies with the same characters. I couldn’t find more valid reason to compare the two

I am sure it is one piece, I did some analyzing on the figure, I think the rocket will look like this in robot mode. This is the back of the rocket module.


Extended the rocket, collapse the tips of the rocket. (the 3D model is ugly, I just want to show how it's done, haha)


Flip out the mid panel and fold down some of the smaller panels.


Swing down the middle panels and become the backpack, and swing down the arms too.


Finally, the whole figure will combine like this. (not 100% accurate)

So, took a quick and dirty comparison with WJ UG and to the top of his head, he's actually not THAT much bigger than Devastator... (Not even half formed Predaking for comparison.)



This confounds me even more on whether or not I should try for Hasbro's... It's certainly making it so I'll wait for clearance, for sure.
