So you guys are talking about SCALE and MPM-6.

That's for the Alt Mode Scale.

So I don't know how will BMB will OS an MPM-6 mold balancing the scale between it's Alt mode and Bot mode with respect to BMB OS KO MPM-4 in both modes.

So you gotta wonder who between Ironhide and Optimus CHEATED their scale upon transforming to bot mode

It is an excellently done piece of photography. I think it's just like when something genuinely cool gets overdone to the point it loses its luster, kinda like Avengers quotes for me right now. Or maybe just because it gets brought up so often for scale discussion and rarely just to admire the photo.

Currently contacting the seller to see what they have to say. It was already a good deal at its previous price of ~$90 USD. Kinda odd they would cut discount an additional %50 like that.

 

I don't think either cheated. Optimus is just more tall and slender compared to Ironhide being shorter and more stalky. The distribute their robot parts in different ways.

Definitely suspicious. However, a buddy of mine purchased Black Mamba's Optimus for a similar price months before he came out from a different buyer through ebay. He didn't get the figure until everyone else did, but it arrived just like mine (same boxing and figure). Saved quite a chunk of cash...makes me curious.

 

I mean, if you've got the money and don't mind if it gets tied up for a bit, you can risk it and Paypal/Ebay will have your back. Make sure the seller isn't on the taboo list on here first, though.

 

I am sure this is a kind of preorder.

no i would think they would honor the $40 price, the description doesn't say anything about a pre-order nor anything about paying extra fees. i'll think it over till friday and i'll see if i bite the bullet or not.

@ChromeMagnus does a splendid job of keeping the thread updated, I would (and have) always check it out before any China eBay purchase.

I guess to get the correct 1:28 or 1:30 scale of both modes on each other (or at least near perfect scale),
We need BMB to make OS KO of either MPM-6 or Studio Series (with waist/belt-bumper improvement) Ironhide. It's gonna be tricky since it needs to respect both scales of Has-Tak MPM-3 Bee (car & bot mode) and BMB LS-03 God of War Optimus Prime (truck and bot mode) at a certain scale.

While in the official MPM line, they all look scaled in bot mode that is..
I can't stomach that the Peterbuilt Truck is undersized vs a Camaro and a Top Kick.
