I cracked the other week and ordered the Skywarp set off a Chinese eBay seller. And the phrase 'a fool and his money are easily parted' has been repeating in my head ever since. £63. Surely it wouldn't cost that much when the local retailers started stocking it. But noooooooo old nerdy mcfartpants just had to have it now. Like the greedy impatient manchild that I am.

But then....


He is a sexy bastard in hand. Character wise, he may not be my favourite seeker, but Skywarp has always had a cooler colour scheme. Siegewarp is a damn fine figure. I do kind of feel a bit vindicated given that the Firestormer set ended up costing £60 in the end, I feel like there isn't much chance these guys will be any cheaper when they land properly in the UK.



His battle-lad compatriots all look rather nice too, but I didn't get the chance to take them out of the package.



So between the Phantomstrike and Firestormer sets... they may be pricey, but the figures within are beautiful. If the Siege line keeps up this momentum it could very well replace Titans Return as my favourite series within the Generations line in no time.

He is a thing of beauty, even if he lacks the wonderful gurning face of MP G2 Murderwipe.

 

For some reason I decided some time ago that every time a show or comic or whatever adds something to Shockwave, that's it, it's part of him forever in my head. So yes, he's the weird reddit logic guy, but also he's constantly seeding planets with magic rocks for whatever reason, picks up extra arms when he feels like it, and is (most importantly) constantly surrounded by baby dragons and assorted monsters.
