what I have found to be intersting with Seige in Japan is , you used to be able to pre-order items and cancel them up to a few weeks before if needed. Now all the Amazon Japan pre-orders say you cannot cancel after you place your pre-order in.

So this confirms that wave 8 may just be rereleases of Rampage and Scrap Metal, nothing new.

It’s not a bad idea. Scrapmetal is kinda shelf warming but rampage is looking like a difficult one to find. I saw him and Optimus once and it was before I decided I wanted to commit to devastator. Luckily I found someone very generous who sold me Rampage for $30 on eBay free shipping because it had a small dent on the box. It was completely unnoticeable and unnecessary but the guy sold it for cost and nothing more. I made sure to give him the best feedback I could give

Yeah, the reissue of these molds is the real news here. Many fans outside US have found Rampage or even Scrapmetal hard to find like in my country. This gives us a new chance to grab them and not paying crazy aftermarket prices.

Does anyone know if the Takara Rampage is assembled correctly?

That wouldn't be the worst thing. With the Constructicons spread out over two years, it would suck if fans who missed out on the first run due to distribution issues were locked out of the Devy forever.

I'm expecting them to find their way into waves a few times leading up to, I hope, a wave that's just Overload and Scavenger.

    Were there issues with Hasbro's?

Another question would be who would remain for a repack in deluxe wave 8. My guess would be Sideswipe, ww2 Bumblebee and shatter.

Meanwhile, Siege wave 2 has only JUST started showing up here in Okinawa. The price markup is definitely not fun either...hence why I\'ve been holding off (I only have Hound and a few micromasters). Debating ordering from Amazon, though I typically like to inspect multiple copies of a figure before settling on one. Has QC been pretty good for this line?

The black hinge was assembled backwards. It affects the figure in no way possible but it’s impossible to fix yourself without removed every hinge and screw on the torso and waist which I wouldn’t dare to do.

Like I said it’s cosmetic, it doesn’t do anything to the toy at all that hinders it

Same situation here. No benefit to get the Takara version.

its actually been cheaper for me to buy from the US and import it, paying shipping and what not than to buy direct from Amazon Japan. iF you are only buying one and sihpping it might not be but if your buying multiple things with it, its cheaper by quite a bit.

Its only started with seige to be the case too, for over 10 years it was cheaper for me to buy on amazon japan but not now. Plus you cant cancel after you place the order anymore.
