Make sure the heel piece is rotated properly, and the toes need be bent all the way inwards at an angle.

I'll put in a '+1' for the Acid Rain Stronghold there - I have that same model (and only that), but I love the size of the pilot and the modularity of the line. It's on sale at BBTS at the moment if you're really interested.

Just got my haul last night. The figure came from seller "Clothing.2009" on Ebay. Great seller by the way. The figure got a little weight. Mine has a small issue on the where the hinge that attach to the giant rocket are. Just had to sand down the part a bit and used hair dyer heat with some safe plastic oils to get the connection to snap better. Otherwise, this most likely will be my 3rd party figure of the year! ^_^ (It scratched the itch for: GIJoe, Transformers, and Diaclone all at the same time) standing ovation!

Last night upon further examination of the figure... One thing I noticed about my copy of this figure is that mine is missing the side missiles that is suppose to be attached on the side of the vehicle. Also once i snapped the giant nuke rockets into the position, I can't seem to pull them back out?!?! >_< The gun tunnels are super tight; also the fit and finish is 1mm off from completely snap tight together. Anybody experiencing the above issues?

Currently working with Ebay seller "Clothing.2009" about getting my missing side missiles at this time. Will report in once I get further development.

I just notice something in this picture... So these are removable?!?! How hard is it to remove these rotating guns? (See pic)

 

I would just double check every foam part of the packaging to double check if the missiles came out or not. I don't remember off hand, but there are a few foam panels with parts inside.

And yes, the missiles and the nozzle to gun are VERY tight.

 

Nah.. No luck, I took apart the entire black foam. It is as light as air haha Anyway, I email the seller and TFC about it.

 

This guy needs a night ops variant or Scourge variant.

I have the original (red & blue), and finally got around to opening the camo version.

It's awesome! Just as cool as the original, and the paint scheme totally rocks. I am very happy they went this route, rather than the kind of boring typical Nemesis or Ultra Magnus repaints. I don't think they would have come out anywhere near as interesting.

Couple of QC issues on mine. The abs section has a paint chip in the silver paint. Very irritating because it's front and center of the figure and abs. The other thing are the gun turrents that point up over the knee cap. I can't seem to get the 'seat' rotating piece to flip around so that the cannons are pointed up and the 'seat' is flat as per the pictures on the box and instructions. It's almost like the rotating die-cast 'seat' piece is just a tiny bit too big and so doesn't clear all the way around. Since it's die-cast there is no heat up or hair-dryer trick to try. I've tried and pried at it and applied a fair amount of force - but don't really want to push it further cause it's probably only in there with a pin, and would rather have a mistransformed knee canon than a broken one. The issue is with both cannons unfortunately (the ones that say "3" and "4" on them).

Anybody else have this issue?

Otherwise, awesome figure, no regrets double dipping. Sweet inner bot mode as well as super armored mode. Kinda wish they threw in some exclusive new accessories with this repaint or a new or different weapon - but what you can you do...

 

Had a few issues with mine. The usual rocket swivel issues that seems pretty common, and I have a large gap in the plastic on the forearm that won't close. Got mine from Show Z, and they just got back to me to say they are waiting on replacement parts from TFC. TFC told them they don't have any and it would probably be a month or so till the next run when they will make some

 

Just got mine today but it's missing these parts. Got it from eBay but it was supposedly new.



I already contacted the Hong Kong based seller but I doubt they'll have a solution. Does anyone know of TFC would send a replacement (if so, what's their email)? I also have the gap in one of the forearms. I wonder if super glue will solve it. Either way if no solution can be found I'd just rather send it back for a refund and maybe get one from a reputable source next time. Kinda bummed although this beast is amazing.
