I feel the same way, tempted to put a deposit down with showz and see what happens.

 

Anyone know how much of a mod would be needed to get the Generation Toy upgrade drills onto Constructor? Gurren Lagann has put all sorts of ridiculous ideas into my head  

 

I was thinking that as well when I was those drills!

 

Since it doesnt exist in any continuity, i cant get behind black devy. Its ugly and looks more like a black prototype than anything else.

 

So after a year and a few months of ownership... I have brought my ToyWorld Constructor full circle.

Many many posts ago, I posted these photographs of my ToyWorld Constructor figures.





At some point... I grew bored with Constructor's combined mode. After several hundred posts, and a couple dozen other acquisitions, I decided to disassemble Constructor's combined mode, to re-experience their individual figures... all over again.

So after it's all said and done... I truly can't be sure which mode of ToyWorld's Constructor I prefer most. I suppose that says alot of positive... for figures we prestigiously leave in combined mode.

But lets not forget... these aren't statues... that is a different market wherein we can plunk down tens of thousands of our hard earned energon-cubes...



Here's hoping that I am just as satisfied with my ZetaToys Kronos, and my XTB Monolith figures... once they are all in my hands and under the phone/camera's watchful lens.

Fantastic tribute to this set. I had to buy multiple sets to enjoy the different modes. I think my favorite is a Season 1 Bot mode display with the rest of the Decepticons. Also, you should invest in a "true" Masterpiece Omega Supreme. The way you like to pose I'd go with DX9 Gabriel. It will go a long way to your collection. Thanks for the pics.

Do those pictures refer to the Old Green? If so is it going to be green and purple with gray thighs?

However, that weathering job is just superb!

Now if we could only get confirmation of his price from a primary retailer, and not eBay. I'd like to get this guy, but I'm not pre-ordering him without knowing what his final cost is going in.

 

Please, look at the difference between the Old Green version (that you can see on the pictures at Show.Z) and an earlier weathered version which is the same of the pictures above:

So I got lucky and the yellow constructor went back up for preorder on BBTS for $299. I wanted the orange, but will gladly take a yellow at that price.

 

I like this better. The lighter purple looks more distressed compared to the darker that does not have as much contrast. My opinion.

 

I do hope they include green thighs too.

 

And thanks because you have inspired me to do the same thing with the versions I have. Kudos!

 

That is unfortunate. Where did you read this. Will attempt to get my pre-order deposit back.

 

I have not placed any faction symbols to any of my 3p bots, except the KFC cassettes....Something I need to do so....yesterday.....

 

Was so close to getting the Weathered yellow but I'm glad I held off for this.

 

...wonder how long it will be before the edible gummy bear material casted version of this set will come out, lol. That mold is gotta be showing some wear by this point. As it has already hit the same number or reuses as the MP original Seeker mold parts at this point.
