I hope everyone out there is fine. That last one seemed like it was pretty big.

Not to say anything offensive, as I do hope that nothing truly disastrous occurs to anybody in the region, but it feels a tad ironic that I bought and watched the 1974 movie Earthquake the other day and witnessing what the 'big one' could do if it ever actually hit.

Hope you folks didn't have too much of a problem and that something worse is not on the horizon.

:throw  Does that answer your question?
    :p

Yeah. I wish they'd make up their minds. Felt a few small tremors afterwards when I was trying to sleep. I don't think much will come of it.

Apparently, a bit of shaking was felt in around Sacramento of which I didn't notice cause I thought it was my epilepsy. Which has been giving me issues so I shrugged it off as "not again" and sat down. Being southern Cali born n raised I've been through a few and these recent ones make me nervous. Stay safe and check those bug out bags.

I have heard people asked how can people live in California with the earthquakes and mud slides. Well the people of California can ask how can we live in part of country with hurricanes and tornados.

Great, now you're jinxing it after @Blam320 did it twice.

As someone who's lived in California for years, I must apologize in advance for this. I just have to do it.

    (I'm sorry.)

Yeah, plus we don't exactly have "seasons" for it like hurricane/flood/tornado areas do. And for the most part, a lot of our quakes aren't the massive monstrosities that make history books and movies.

That said, you couldn't pay me enough to live in tornado alley. Or hurricane areas. And screw living in places with active volcanos.

    Any place can get fires.

Cali gets massive wildfires that burn down hundreds of acres each year. Let me tell you if you think fires where you are are bad, California’s are worse.

Hi! I live in California and like I said before, big fires can happen ANYWHERE. A lot of them are caused by human carelessness. But by all means, please continue believing that California is the only flammable place in the entire world and that some idiot flicking cigarettes, not watching their campfire, or shooting off fireworks can't accidentally set woods, plains, or desert brush on fire in other places.
