No he shouldn't. A current day Peter would stop fighting, zip to the ceiling and check his Facebook notifications. They can't wait, you know.
The Cannonball wouldn't bother me so much if he didn't cost the same as a regular figure. Half a body should be half the cost IMO. And I like this reviewer. I need more Marvel Legends reviewers. I don't hate Shartimus but I can only take so much of his "Thish is shooo sweeet!!" shtick. I guess what I'm saying is that I fast forward through his stuff a lot.
Well, my Rescues came in from Pulse: And wouldn't ya know it? I had to open the one that had paint issues. Guess that teaches me for not inspecting it carefully before I cracked it open: See how she's all slouched over in depression because...the paint is all messed up in multiple areas (some not pictured). Well not to worry! Luckily I had that gold sharpie still around from when I "painted" Ronin's hand from doing that mod on him and...I have to say it turned out kinda nicely: I went through everything that was "yellowish gold" with the marker. Unfortunately, the paint apps were kinda off in some places...meaning they weren't painting "in between the lines" on some panels so I had to improvise the touch ups. Other than that, now she looks decent I haven't applied the touch ups to the backback you see unattached. But I'll do that later.
Not sure, here's what the peg looks like / when he's split apart. The reviewer barely pulled on it and it came apart.
It'll take a bit of work. The waist connection is one of the most difficult parts to disassemble on Hasbro's ML bodies, as I understand it. You have to crack/pry open the halves of the pelvis in order to separate the torso.
Yes they could have. Look at figures like The Thing. Huge figure with tons of detail and extras. A lot of plastic and it was still only $20. Their argument has gone back to the MU days that when they go all out or give us a big figure they make up for it in the wave with a smaller figure being shortchanged. They could have given Cannonball both and even a new design mechanic if they wanted. Swappable waist would have been great for Hydroman too and there are other figures that could make use of it.
I think they may have been able to do both legs and effect piece if they left the BAF piece out of his release and added in another figure to complete the BAF. It may have worked since the BAF is essentially just a repaint of a previous BAF.
Hmmm seems like Hover Chuck will get plentiful slowly. Wasn't he supposed to be packed in with MCU Rider Chris Evans? And Chuck will be x2? Regarding Cannonball, the common suspects for a leg change are Shatterstar's and Paladin's.
I picked up Doppleganger, mostly because Target didn't have Bill, Mysterio, or Scorpion. Another reason though is that I really like the idea of multi-armed figures, but the 6-armed Spidey looked way too cheap. The plastic colors here look nicer overall, and I really like that there's a combination of fist and open hands that you can swap between the arms. However there is one big downside, and that is that the new parts have raised webbing while the reused parts have recessed webbings. Thankfully I think it looks fine without panel lining because I think actually doing so would make that difference stand out more.
Which is how he should be. Not really. Most kids these days view Facebook as being "for old people." In fact, that is exactly what Peter would say if someone asked him if he had an account. To be fair, it's not that easy to review figures. I recorded a review of the MonsterArts Kiryu Godzilla last year, edited it, and it was so monotonous that I never bothered to make the review public and have never attempted another toy review again.
Well, from I learned from the Hasbro employees at Hascon, each wave has a set budget that must be met (no going over or under budget). They have two duplicates in the wave (Wolverine and Nightcrawler) so it may be that either things like Mr. Sinister's cape are somehow expensive, or their budget was cut to make more characters in other lines. I'm obviously just talking out of my ass here but I've also tried to make sense of business decisions before and found none. I got nothing but respect for this comment.
