Been fiddling with a new camera, so thought I’d share

 

Never say never, most people thought we would never get an MP of Shockwave due to the toy rights. I'll patiently wait and if it happens, it happens, if not, oh well. I personally don't really care for 3P, I like to keep it official for my collection, so not going to pick up the MMC version. But that's great for those that do like 3P.

Some comparisons of the KO Beast Wars stand vs the original.



The shinier, brighter panels are the original (top left and bottom right). The originals have more swirly plastic in them too. The KO panels (bottom left & top right) tend to fit tighter, but as u can see, they all fit together nonetheless. Details are slightly softer on the KO but you'd need the original for comparison in order to know.



As for the adjustable post, the original (front) is likewise shinier. All joints are much tighter, but this can be improved on the KO by torque-ing the screws. The original is also assembled with the screw showing on top of the post that attaches to the bots. The Megatron adaptor also fits a bit too tight on the original. I've sanded down the KO so that it fits better.

Looks good, although on such a large surface and with a repeated pattern the rectangles do become a bit visually jarring.

What’s going on in that third pic, it looks like Inferno’s ladder is rotated a little bit  
Is that just camera angle trickery combined with the angle of the water spray effect? Very cool!

Siege Skyfire scales pretty well with MP Prime!

 

Cool, that's how I transform mine in alt mode too! Looks better with white circular details being exposed. Also, a bit less gappy as his upper arm sits more flush with the rest of the vehicle.
