planning to get this dude probably after the holidays. Does anyone think they will do a Beast Machines retool? I mean they already have the head from Cryotek and all they would need to do is make new wings that could turn into a cloak

 

...mega doragon dominates my shelf, literally and figuratively...

...not only is his visual presence stunning to behold, commanding the attention of everyone who walks into the room, but that wingspan gives him such a large physical footprint that i can't conceive of any practical way to fit multiple dragons onto the same shelf...

...still thinking about picking up cryotek, though!..

Mine is sitting atop a shelf above the television set. Just enough space to spread its wings. I just think something like this should be displayed in a more open space. This pose was only possible because i tightened its joints

 

Get one of those cheap wooden shelves but instead lie it on the side? Especially the kind that are flush on all every side (no 'legs' at the bottom). Literal rectangle with dividers inside. Probably can stack them 2x2 like.

 

I have my Cryotek and Mega Doragon standing alone atop two tall bookshelves. I’d say if you’re getting a repaint, get one of this toy because they look incredible together.

Only issue is Cryotek tends to drop his wings. How would you go about tigthening his joints? Pledge? That’s not available in my country, but I think someone said it’s basically acrylic clear coat?

There’s just about space left for a certain even bigger Chinese dragon. Though where to keep JianXing Cryotek or the Iron Factory I have no clue. Dragon collecting is challenging.

IKEA Kallax shelf could be perfect. Cheap, comes in many sizes and easy to customize.

 

Oh those are amazingly versatile. Mine is 20×80cm and can hold 5 mp10 sized figures. And guess what? I didnt even drill it to my wall. They are held up by 6 3M stickers, supporting it via triangular wall mounts. Each holds 2.2 KG, so together, they can support 13.2KG of weight. Your average figure isnt even 1KG. I will take pics if you need a reference

I have floating shelves that I've been using for my various non detolf collections, I'll have the dragons up this weekend. @myrrh I also added RiD Megatron and Prime Predaking, though both could use a 3rd Party or Seige update. The rest I have currently are both PEs, Ismenios, Red Dragon. Waiting on Metal Beast and Heat Death to be released and undecided about Ryu-oh
