Geez, talk about a freakin' storm in a teacup. This is like a category 5 hurricane in a thimble.

I love the feet and think they're perfect! In fact I wish they were even more apparent in alt mode. Don't even fold them up at all - just leave them as his bot mode feet hanging in there back. That way if you ride too close, he can just kick you away.

I normally take exception to calling people "whiners" just because they complain about something not important to you but, oh my gosh, this had gone beyond whining: page after page. We get it - you guys don't like the feet. They're not going to change so just don't buy the figure. Go buy something else. The rest of us will buy and enjoy it without you.

 

This is the exact reason it's become such a big issue though. It's ONE complaint, but people treat it like we hate the figure and it's ruined for us and we should just go away. Both sides need to chill out, but comments like this aren't really helping.

 

But did you see the feet in alt mode?

 

That's fair. Some people see complaints like this as "Hey, people who like this, this thing sucks and therefore you suck for liking it," so they feel like they have defend it. Then the people who complained feel like they have to explain themselves and it spirals.

Then there's me. Day 1: "I see what they're saying but it doesn't seem like a big deal to me."
Day 2: "Huh, they're still complaining about the same thing."
Day 3: "Really? It's still going?"
Day 5: "Oh my gosh! I came here for updates on the figure but I keep having to wade through all the complaints."
Day 7: "Still?! What the hell? Get over it!"
Day 9: There needs to be an angrier angry emoticon  

So yeah, I was a little harsh and I apologize. It's a valid complaint and it doesn't matter that I don't think it's a big deal.

 

 

Definitely see your side of it too. I think new people are coming in to the thread too and making the same comment not knowing it’s been said over and over. As an example, this figure is spreading around Instagram like wildfire since it looks so awesome, and I think this is the most popular “new” Prime design since forever, since it seems to be a middle ground between G1 and movie.

 

The feet are here to stay, either deal with them, or don't buy it. Seeing pages and pages of discussion on the feet is ridiculous.

I understand that they won't alter the figure this close to it's release, I am just bothered by the fact that this figure could have been nigh on perfect, a figure I had been pinning for as soon as I had seen videos on SS-38 and realized that I need a MP version of this Optimus Prime. I've been more excited for this figure than MP-44 even before I had even learned of it's existence. I'm planning on getting this figure; though, I'm going to get it next year, after people have already gotten their hands on it so I can see if any problems with the figure exist. I'm also just going to wait in hopes that TW releases a "LEGACY EDITION" that is a prestine Cherry Red, Midnight Blue, and Brushed Silver with a trailer that's atleast around $200.

The feet fold down flat! Looks like magnet pads, like a magnetized bumper to connect to trailers! see below! I'm getting him!

I dont think the feet are mistransformed, rather they are not fully transformed in the new color photos, unless they changed the feet design from this prototype. But they look the same to me.

 

They're different, just look at the lack of rear signal lights.

 

This. They appear to have changed the molding/hinges/transformation for the worse, but added taillights, as if that'll somehow make it all better...

But we just couldnt look past truck feet. Trucks with feet. Actually, what if you could kick away tailgaters? Who's laughing then?

 

Maybe there will be a way to fold these feet so they look like the one in the pics you posted.

All this discussion about feet reminds me of WJ OS MPM04’s abs or MP44’s backpack. We are on a forum. Everyone gets to express themselves! Take the best for yourselves.

Cybertron mode and earth mode? Doesn't matter as the feet are still there.

 

TW still has a few months to redesign the figure, us beating the proverbial horse could end up changing their minds, and alter the leg transformation. It's better to know you "tried", rather than regret your "inaction".

 

I would like that too, but nope, since the livestream the TW guy who handled the figure affirms that the colored test-shot it's mostly different to the grey prop (including the feets).

It's not misstransformation.
