I also want the correct season 2 bot gray windows but I’m not so sure we will get them.

I’m puzzled how they’re overlooking this.

Chchchch would you be so kind as to photoshop a few of the new pics with the correct windows so we can see what we want? Maybe it’s not such a big deal. Or maybe they are choosing a better alternative. Just curious.

 

I can probably do that tonight as I'd also like to see how much effect it has, should only take a minute (no worries if someone else does it first!)

 

Smokescreen looks ACES! The extra faces and the effects parts are very nice touches! A definite buy! Gonna have to sell the original though.

 

I absolutely LOVE the new pics. Smokey+ looks so good. I will definitely be preordering him once he goes up on BBTS.

 

So great seeing the extra mile they're going on the + releases now, though like others say, the blue windows are a real bother to me. So weird that they'd miss that when there's so much attention to detail everywhere else. Hope you're right about it just being a modded Prowl+, @Sam ! Fingers crossed they make them the correct grey s2 windows!

 

Nah, but they could probably be mistaken for it due to the cool grey. They were never this saturated blue we're seeing in these stock shots. They should definitely match the Fusos' and Red Alert+'s windows.

Like @Prime135 says, they're better than the saturated blue but still too dark. Hopefully they'll work it out!

 

Weird I’m not bothered by the discrepancy in windows. I like when they’re blue, and even if they don’t match the toon at least they match the other carbots, so it still makes sense in my head.

 

So far though it’s been season 2 grey, season 1 blue. He won’t match any of the season 2 cars

 

I'm bothered by it a lot less on Smokescreen since blue is already a strong part of his coloring than I might be for other characters. I think it would be more jarring on say, Red Alert, where the contrast would be more obvious.

 

I’m not sure about it being creepy. But I love it.

Well probably cause race cars don’t need windshield wipers. You’d never think it to be the first thing on your mind.

I'd probably prefer grey windows on Smokescreen myself, but I wouldn't have even noticed that they were grey and not blue in the cartoon if you hadn't pointed it out.   It's always looked like a slightly more desaturated blue to me.

Yeah, that'd be damn near perfect, @ambitron ! The windows affect his bot mode, especially since his shins should appear grey.

 

The colour they painted the little back 'window' is actually perfect then. Just the rest of the windows that don't match that.
