I am excited for these bots, the Omnibots are one of those sort of niche things I love. Fingers crossed for Diaclone style reflector in the next exclusive
It's interesting to build a deck theory around these three because after turn three you have no incentive to transform them anymore but on turn one you could potentially set up a lot of damage on an open attack while having someone prepped to take an attack immediate. That said though there's a lot of luck involved since your best hope is to have an opening hand that lets you play all three upgrades instantly.
If I was going 2nd with an Omnibots team, I would choose to play an Action during the 2nd turn because the abilities would already let me play Upgrades so I wouldn't have to choose to play either an Upgrade or an Action during my first turn.
I have Camshaft & Overdrive in alt modes on my desk at work. I just need to track down Overdrive's instructions & a complete Downshift to finish the team. Now I REALLY WANT that Omnibots set!!
I just love the idea of getting the whole team in one pack! Brilliant idea - now let's just hope it will be easy to get and is more widespread available.
I would love to add them to my collection! Siege (or whatever comes next in the WFC trilogy) would be a perfect place fo them with regards to a retail line. Cybertronian modes are fine for me. the whole C.O.M.B.A.T. theme could be used for their altmodes... as long as you give them a least one integrated weapon. That's cool... but what use does this have for the EU players or the other parts of the world?
