The screw under the windshield worked wonders to improving this figure. Now if the reverse ab crunch wasn't so loose (there is nothing to lock the Ab area into), he would easily be one of my top Legends figure. As is, he is a solid B- who could easily be an A+.

 

Just got mine in today from baba on eBay. Love this little guy, much better than their Sideswipe.

I think he means that his Trailbreaker lacked its head entirely, not that a mooted second head was missing.

Magic Square seems good with the repaints, but still no diaclone yellow Trailbreaker?!

@Fulano de Tal even got a news credit for the mess up, and it still wasn't fixed.  

 

Hoist is cool enough in robo mode but I'm bummed they made the hood of the truck even longer. (you can see it clearly here, in the alt mode shot with Trailbreaker Magic Square Toys B10 CRANE) Not only does it make the beer belly more prominent, the truck matches the earth alt mode Toyota truck even less. Dunno why Magic Square keeps pulling away from the toy alts when they wouldn't really affect much else, like molding the Lambo windows too long on sideswipe, etc.

Wonder if NA will also do these guys, or not risk doubling up on less popular characters.

I never noticed Hoist's front end was just a little longer. I'm curious to see how much the different measures up to be.

 

Just seems unnecessary.. so the backback would overlap the rear hips a bit, so what. It might limit the ability to do a front/back split a bit, but it's not as good a tradeoff to having a pickup truck with a really long hood, that already was longer than the alt mode reference Toyota.

And then, having two datsuns... I'll have to end up ordering the third huh.

And with my 'no repaints' for the G1 shelf rule out the window, I'll have to get MS Inferno.

Fucking damnit.
