Probably neither. Unless one of them turns out into a perfect and actually good figure. Then I’ll buy it.

I went with the Constructicons in the vote above, but I really want it all, so it is tough to pick one.

I would put their Astrotrain right at the top of the list too, especially of the stuff they have teased so far, probably very narrowly followed by Chomp just to finish off the trio of Decepticon Headmasters.

I would love love LOVE for FansToys to do a proper SkyLynx. I have the MMC set, and like it, but I would love to swap it out for a FansToys take on the character.

Well to be fair that Sky Lynx isn’t meant to be an MP figure.

Sheridan, Thomas, Berserk, Chomp, and Jabber, because they help complete the main cast and certain subteams within my collection.

I think Gigapower would do a better Skylynx and Predacons. How about FT finishes the Headmasters and do a full Targetmasters line.

    All of them?
FT, XTB and KO's-of-Takara are my top three sources of MP.
It's great to have the option to decide between FT and XTB on each figure and it can honestly go either way on a case by case basis.
Takara are killing it with some stuff and making some really bad life-choices with others, plus their high prices are an immediate turn-off so I'm KO all the way for their stuff from now on. (And I bought my fair share of official MP's before the idiotic price hike so I feel zero guilt about it)

Also, I didn't buy into that short-lived spate of "I hate FT" nonsense that was here for a couple of figures then almost completely vanished with a single good release.  Even their stuff that didn't appeal to me was still super tempting and worthy of respect.
And flip-side, I've always given XTB the benefit of the doubt on their stuff, in spite of their past rep and their undeniable, occasional screw-ups.

Finally, knowing that Takara has abandoned any pretence of consistency in the MP line, means that FT and XTB are going to be essential to completing my collection, so everything either one announces gets my attention.

Having said that, I can almost guarantee that the only characters on the poll that FT WILL do are the combiners. They simply aren't going to waste the effort trying to compete with MP-36, MP-13 (or it's inevitable repaint/V2) or the Van Bros. And the 3 current and 1 past options for MP Prime are also too much competition for them to bother. An off-hand remark from years ago notwithstanding, FT are no more going to do the entire cast than Takara are, or XTB for that matter.

None of us are going to be able to rely on a single company for a complete MP collection. Mix-and-match is inevitable.

So I’m not sure if someone asks this but how come we haven’t seen Fanstoys version of Optimus Prime or Megatron or the Seekers?

Takara fears. Except more maybe Starscream. They’re probably just preoccupied. Or maybe they’ve also heard about the rumours that a Takara one will happen.

I'll be alone out here with the 3 others that want this: Punch/Counterpunch. Yeah I said it.

Because everyone already owns either Apollyon, Despotron, Mightron, MP-36. IT-01, MagTen or THF so there's no real point in FT releasing yet ANOTHER Megatron?

Optimus? We have MP-10, Primorion, TE-01, MS-01 or MP-44. Again, the market is saturated and there's a version to suit just about everyone's tastes.

Seekers are a maybe but multiple versions of the MP-11 mould are pretty common in a LOT of peoples collections and of those who hated it, a lot went for Maketoys Meteor. There's still some who don't like either option, so there's possibly more chance of FT taking a swing at Seekers than the two leaders, especially if their Aerialbots provide any shortcuts to a good Seeker design, but it's still only a maybe.

dallianjj said YEARS ago, in an off-hand post, that FT were planning to do all characters. AFAIK, this has never been confirmed since?

Folks seem to think this is somehow "word of god" that they still will. FT were extremely reluctant to do both Hot Rod and Grimlock and really only caved to fan demand because the alternatives were pretty lacking. I honestly don't see the same level of demand for yet another MP Megatron or Optimus. Seekers, Soundwave (and a Blaster) are more likely to receive interest, but only if they beat Takara to the punch, because those are bound to get another go around eventually. FT are extremely reluctant to face off against Takara unless they KNOW they can do better, as are almost every other company.

I'd like to see (broken record here) an Ultra Magnus/Delta Magnus robot-in-armor setup. Its doable, and parts forming would be the point! It would be the trickiest thing to see a functioning car-carrier pulled by a COE truck and show Has/Tak up.

Just want a perfect transformation Rodimus Prime and maybe a Galvatron 2.0, since Takara will die before they ever make one.

Too many of the choices are just wishful thinking and nothing FT's actually announced, and even then some of them like Optimus and Megatron have been done so well you'd have to be drunk on the Faaaaaaaaaans Toooooooys Kool-Aid to really care if FT ever got to them, let alone made them your most-anticipated figure.

My vote would be Thomas. I mean, just because Road King was good doesn't mean I've forgiven the last two years and I'm supremely confident they'll make the perfect Astrotrain, but of the stuff FT's actually announced I'd say it's the season 1-2 character that's most in need of a proper MP figure. Sheridan would be the runner up, then Berserk. Chomp is up there, because he'll complete the regular Decepticon Headmasters, but Season 4/Japanese G1 is less of a priority, especially since Maketoys doesn't look like they're going to get the other Autobots out anytime soon. Their Stunticons, Jabber, and the other FT minibots already have versions that are good enough for me. And while their Aerialbots and Constructicons have the potential to be the best I've had enough issues with their engineering that it's less anticipation and more "wait for reviews."

There is an option that describes the Predacons and the Terrorcons.

Personally I don’t know if I want combiners from them... But I would like to see their take on the Horrorcons.
