Since the cards cost as much as the cover, which is free? Stock up on cards and get a bunch of comics.
Sounds about right. Idw never had to resort to outright bribery back when Barber, Roberts, and Scott were writing good comics for them.
I mean it’s far more likely that they’re promoting the trading cards to other audiences interested in Transformers, but let’s jump to “bribery”.
We actually call “shrimp” “prawns” in Australia and they’re not popular at barbeques. Everything you’ve known is a lie.
lol look, i've been to outback steakhouse, i think i'm pretty wealthy as far as australian cultural knowledge goes. your blooming onions are magical.
If it's anything like the first 5 issues I read, then it's your standard Seinfeld episode, "nothing happens"
There was a discussion about this very thing in the forum a couple months ago (except there the topic involved a single card, not a complete pack) and a good majority thought it was a bad idea because it would somehow either drive collectors of the card game into buying up all the comics and leaving the readers empty handed, well, did issue 7 sell out? (Honest question)
This some how cheapens the release not enhance it for some reason. Kids comics here come with free gifts and back in the day marvel uk tfs had the occasional free gift but i never thought id see it with idw. Sorry
