Just a quick clarification for a month delay shipping from China. We have been explicitly told by FT we could only start shipping Maverick from China around a month later when all of the Chinese sellers receive their stock. We did ask FT if this was the rule for us why there were some China based stores could start shipping their stock eariler. They said these stores didn't get stock from them directly so they had no control of this. It looks unfair to us, but what can we do  ?

When FT said a month delay was not necessary exact a month, it was always around 2 to 5 weeks based on our experience.

Finally here is a good news! Maverick will be released this Wed. We expect to start shipping from UK next Monday.

I'm still torn on these. The Aerialbots, Metroplex, Outback and Warpath are the only pre-headmasters toys I had from when I was a kid that I haven't gotten a new version of. I think the main thing holding me back was shelf space, but I just managed to move some stuff around and open up a new shelf over the weekend.

I haven't really heard anything good or bad about Zeta's Aerialbots, it seems the general consensus is lukewarm on them? So since I'm starting from scratch, I may as well go FT? If Road King is any indication, this should hopefully be as good? It seems like FT is wanting to make sure they knock it out of the park to get people on the hook for the rest of the teams.

Not directed at @ChromeMagnus but to others in the various threads that constantly buy from China sellers and then moan about the delay... lets just say your figure arrives a month after others get it, so what? Why must you have yours day-and-date? And if you're in the US, why aren't you ordering from one of the NA retailers in the first place? And if it was SO important to have whatever figure, why didn't you pre-order it?

Unfortunately for me, as much as I want to order stuff from the NA retailers, its just too expensive when you factor in shipping and taxes to Canada. When we're talking about 20% difference on $200 figures, it adds up REALLY quickly.

You Yanks have it good with free or discounted shipping, and with FT figures, the prices are comparable to China-based sellers.

In other words, time is money. You want it faster? Well you pay for it. I agree with this. I received my Motormaster a month/5 weeks after everyone else, but I got it for a decent price, and this time around I am getting Maverick for an even better price. I am ok waiting. Yeah does not look like Baba will ship this week because he's just shipped a number of items that I bought at the same time as Maverick.

 

General consensus on Zeta's aerialbot is that the individual figures are nice but not the best in class, while the combined form is awesome. Depending on what are your priorities (individuals vs combined, toon vs toy look) they might be an excellent choice.

 

Think this guy will be available at TFCon toronto? I’m still undecided about my desire for any Aerialbots at all and hope to see him in person or at least get some reviews or something to entice me. I realized while humming and hawing that I don’t really like the Autobot combiners that much and as much as I think I want the full season 1-2 cast, I mostly just want the toon figures from the 1985 toy catalogue in mp form.

 

will you have any instock after posting the pre orders out? and any idea how much the price increase will be? if there is going to be one

Sorry, the stock shipping from UK has completely sold out already (unless there are any cancellation or unpaid balance), very few left for shipping from China only. Unlike Hasbro products, Takara stuff and 3P products are produced based on the preorders, when the stock is gone then we have to wait for next reissue. So just grab one from anywhere with a reasonable price before it's gone if you really like it

Got a reply to my delivery query that UK TFS-Express is expecting to start shipping from the UK early next week. Was hoping for later this week but that was probably unrealistic.
