@Kuma Style, I think this definitely warrants a separate thread, it's a different character and could perhaps spur more attention for RID/Car Robots.

I really don’t get the starting/stopping of their trend of including bonus figures. I guess it can be a double edged sword of including seeker parts that are rereleased separately or having bonus figures exclusive to the set(s) like some fembots. I missed out on their elita 1, and bonuses like that could be the tipping point to winning potential buyers over.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ just some thoughts

 

It’s a bonus to reward those supporting them at the time, made as an incentive for others to try their figures out. It’s somewhat similar to the prices of their Pink Assassin and Bridgewatcher, they lowered those prices in order to get people who didn’t normally buy their products to give it a try and hopefully get hooked.

As a completionist, I’m bummed for you but in the toy community that’s what we call a “late-comer tax”.

Hopefully we see more bonus figures in the future but I somewhat doubt it considering the amount of fanfare they are getting now, they don’t have to try to entice people nearly as much these days.

 

great post and you hit the nail on the head with that one. as someone who recently tracked down the early IF lady bots and cassette minions. from all around the globe. i can appreciate their rarity it made it all fun.

 

Just quickly, does anyone have a devil of a time trying to get Brawl's turret to stay attached? It always seems to be clinging on for dear life and detaches at the slightest rotation .

Is it just me or is war giants right arm longer than the left.

Blastoff as an arm is longer than vortex the helicopter...because of the double joint so when the arm is bent the double joint comes into play and looks longer than the other arm which doesnt have the double joint

Anyone else bothered by this?

I thought that was a deliberate feature so that he could hold his gun properly? He wouldn’t be able to do it without that little extra bend...

 

If its i deliberate feature then fine i mean i get it. I am just saying when extended his blastoff arm is noticeably longer than the other one which to me looks kind of off putting
