Definitely not typical. During Q1, I bought a TON of merchandise, including Phoenix X from Baba and had a whopping $4.41 in eBay bucks. Give me a good ol' flash sale any day of the week!

 

Must be one flash sale tomorrow, right?! End of June is coming!  

 

Don't give up hope!!! If it's going to happen in June, then tomorrow is probably it. I don't remember ever having a flash sale on the weekend. But I might be wrong. Also tomorrow is pay day. It's an absolutely fine day for a flash sale  

 

i have a couple items in my cart waiting for a flash sale or percentage back. doesnt matter to me. for some reason ebay has excluded me from anything for more than a couple of months now. i sold a lot of figures on ebay recently and just got a 40 dollar coupon today which was nice. finally got badcube steamroll. i sold my takara sidewipe to fund him. i love my badcube red alert so i wanted to make the switch for both.

 

Gah,the amount of money I spent this week and all the figures I have to sell to fund it on ebay. Insomnia and transformers do not make a good mixture.

 

I did not buy much off of Ebay this quarter and have $124.67 in Ebay bucks, but next quarter will probably be zero to not much, with lack of sales and the addition of sales tax since June 1st, has led to me purchasing elsewhere. It will be interesting to find out if Ebay sales has be influenced by the addition of taxes.

 

Sales tax has not come to my state for ebay yet, but if or when it does it will cause me to buy almost everything through showz and superbuy (taobao).

 

eBay Bucks are sneaky they mean when you spend them you potentially get more next time - getting you to come back and spend again.

What I find me doing is hold off and plan ahead purchase wise I have a few small things in mind that I'd buy - but I may not buy anything immediately they become payable as there is likely to be some sort of discount and if there is then i'll just spend them on the last day before they run out. I'll probably buy something Mech Fans toys related or perhaps a Siege Chromia.

There should be a Topcashback offer soon - (for the start of the season or the end of the month) but it may miss the pay out day so wouldn't be ideal there.

 

Oh well, looks like that's it for June.

 

So, apparently there was a sales offer last night into this morning? Apparently it was a Slickdeals exclusive link using their portal to get a 10% off (up to $25 discount) code for one-time usage. I figured it'd be a huge deal on here by now, but apparently Ebay already ended it? Guess that might have been the intended sale for the end of the month; sorry to anyone if it turns out that was it for deals this month.

 

Looks like the main deal running right now is a Home and Garden Essentials sale for 15% off. So no flash sales this month.

 

And I'm sure there'll be nothing for the July, 4th at this rate. I hope I'm wrong.

Ebay is shaping up to be the stingy Grinch that stole 2019.

 

That's definitely a different deal than the one I got this morning then. It may or may not have been targeted, but it definitely ended today and the codes were random alpha-numerics. Hopefully that one until the 30th is still a nice backup option for others; 2019 has been a rough year for eBay deals compared to last year.
